I prefer the Young Justice version of the league. The founding 7 of the DCAU are mostly boring, their first show was weak due to constant two parters, and the new cast is way too big.

I used to prefer YJ back in the season 1 days, just because I thought the team dynamic was more enjoyable in YJ than in JLU. Season 2 shat the bed on that with time skip that robbed us of multiple years of character development along with a now bloated and undeveloped cast, which lacked the season 1 team's chemistry. At that point, it was an inferior JLU and it's only gotten soo much worse since then. I legit couldn't rewatch season 3 in the lead-up to season 4. Season 4, meanwhile, has failed, for the most part, at its stated mission of character-focused arcs for the season 1 team. Instead, it's been a spectacularly boring slog punctuated by brief moments of the old magic the show had. At this point, the old DCAU is objectively superior in every way, least of all because it doesn't subject me to PowerPoint presentations on the great caveman himself.

They seemed to find a very good balance between fun superhero cartoon and actually taking itself seriously as a medium. A bit sad that Wally was sidelined so hard compared to the other core members though.
DCAU women inspire an indescribable amount of lust in me. Cartoons should not be this attractive.
