The show itself used to pride itself on its flexible artstyle but it's stagnation and you probably being a season 5fag means you probably will never appreciate what it once was.

Way to make baseless assumptions. I was only talking about 2D stylization in general. I think it's a given that most every Gumball fan prefers the look of those first 2-3 seasons over the more streamlined look the crew resorted to for the rest of the show's run. I'm just saying there's really no harm in a show with Gumball's style of humour sticking to limited angles. Those few cases where the characters HAVE to be seen from an awkward angle (e.g. OP's pic) are made even more hilarious because they're used so sparingly.
