Is this the only time a western animated cartoon has ever killed off its child protagonist aside from Maya and the Three?

Define protagonist

>Forgetting that tome Candace almost Thanos snapped her brothers out of existence

well since it still counts when they're brought back to life, Aang is killed in the ATLA's Book 2 finale

>when they're brought back to life
Technically Anne wasn't.

Simon was pretty much an antagonist

Bart, Lisa and Maggie have been killed off in several Halloween specials, do we count those?

Nigga she never died, she was perfectly fine like 5 minutes later.

She did die and that wasn't her.

>Nigga she never died
She fucking disintegrated

Nah those episodes are non-canon and just meant to be satire even by the show’s standards

I can understand children but how the fuck a grown ass man like you somehow missed Anne died and was duplicated is beyond me

Yes I too enjoy spreading false information online
Death is permanent, you autist.
When you say a character dies, it means they no longer exist.
No, being turned to dust then brought back by magic isn't death

Nigga, shut yo beta bitch ass up
Trying to spread fake news and shit

She died. No matter what you want to say happened to her afterwards, she was dead at that point

If someone kills you and a clone is made to replace you...guess what you still fucking died

The emotional weight of this was removed right after with clone shit.

>being turned to dust then brought back by magic isn't death
She was copied before death. That's the copy talking to domino. Anne wasn't brought back from dust

If we're counting western animated movies...

Just say you didn't watch the show, owlcuck. It's pretty obvious.

Something I love about Dr Tenma is that unlilke most science fiction stories he doesn't fail on making a copy of his son, nothing backfires, no one stops him.
He succeeds on making copy of Tobio so perfect few actually can tell he isn't human yet the more he lived with Astro the more he realized even a perfect copy wouldn't replace his real son. Because at the end he didn't want a perfect robot copy he wanted his son back.
