>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

If the thread dies suddenly or you still want to discuss something when there's no thread:

I posted this in the plus4chan IKAG thread, but I'll re-post it to the weekly thread too.

In regards to the IKAG pastebin Artist user put together:

I've only had time to read through the "opening story attempts" so far since I've been busy with my own writing project, but here are my thoughts so far since the Sunday thread is going to be made late due to Mother's Day.

I feel Conner's past is better hinted at than shown at the start of the story. It creates more mystery/intrigue that way.

If there needs to be an origin for the bartering, then maybe tie it into how he got the raw materials for the augment suit, or how he bribed his way into creating an opportunity to "borrow" the official augment suit while making his own. After his recovery, he keeps doing the trades because people still come to him asking for things. He's compelled to be useful and sees this as the only interactions he'll get where people aren't afraid he'll blow up a building again.

I think it is a mistake to put ALL of the super kids in the same class. Amelia should not start off in the same class as Conner, she'll put herself in that class once she takes a personal interest in him. He should only come to her attention via his deeds which, ironically, would be an accomplishment Conner can't refuse credit for. Furthermore, I thought Hayleigh was older than Rudy and Conner, did she get held back a year to be in the same class as them?

Maybe my perspective is a bit off, but I think the best opening story is to just throw Conner in the middle of one of his trades, see how readers respond to it, and then see what kind of story you want to tell VS the type of story they think you are trying to tell.

Dang character limit. Cont.

Ah, I see. Now the censored swears make sense. Pastebin's policies really have gone off of the deep end.
I tried up add my Bullion #6 script to the bin I've been sticking them in and it rejected it for inappropriate content. The shitters. We could just make use of the wiki for an easy place to dump and edit text. It does have user pages and blogs for that sort of thing.

Who did the later commentary on the shuttlecock story? They have a point about not every story needing huge escalation. That's something I realized with the Pepper intro story, it didn't need massive escalation, it just needed a conflict and it was a fairly low grade conflict that also helped to introduce Amelia more to the the readers.

That's all I have so far, I haven't had time to read through all of the other story drafts yet.

And the last little bit the Bullion #6 script I didn't finish last thread.

Page 12
Panel 1
Bullion is laying Iris down on the roof, she's knocked out. Olympian is standing next to them, inspecting Iris.
Bullion: "She's OK, just unconcious."
Olympian: "Whatever these black things are seem to tax a person's mind."

Panel 2
Close up of Olympian, looking sly and upwards at Bullion.
Olympian: "So, how did you get it off her?"

Panel 3
Bullion is readjusting her shirt, pulling it down so the rip isn't letting her girls fly free. In the background Billy has turned his head and is whisteling, like he's trying not to stare.
Bullion: "My hunch was right."

Panel 4
Bullion has her hand up indicating she wants the jar from Billy who is handing it over, it hasn't changed hands yet. Olympian looks shocked.
Olympian: "A hunch?! Kid, you're way too reckless!"
Bullion: "Look. Whatever this thing is-"

Panel 5
Close up of the jar, the black bars are pressed up against the side of it as far away from Bullion as it can get. Bullion is leaning down to show Olympian and Billy is leaning down to get a closer look at it.
Bullion: "-it really hates being near me."

Happy Mother's Day OP!

And I'm off for probably the next 7 hours or so to spend the day with my mom and grandma.

So good luck to the thread.

>I feel Conner's past is better hinted at than shown at the start of the story. It creates more mystery/intrigue that way.
Ok, save it for later down the line, if at all, rather than getting it out the way
>I think it is a mistake to put ALL of the super kids in the same class.
If you can elaborate on this later on when you have free time, I'd like to hear your reasoning
>Amelia should not start off in the same class as Conner, she'll put herself in that class once she takes a personal interest in him. He should only come to her attention via his deeds which, ironically, would be an accomplishment Conner can't refuse credit for.
Good rationale
>Furthermore, I thought Hayleigh was older than Rudy and Conner, did she get held back a year to be in the same class as them?
Is she that much older? I thought it was a few minutes difference between her and Rudy, and they were all in the same grade as a result. Since having them all in the same class was the important part
>Maybe my perspective is a bit off, but I think the best opening story is to just throw Conner in the middle of one of his trades, see how readers respond to it, and then see what kind of story you want to tell VS the type of story they think you are trying to tell.
Finding a good trade story to start with is still difficult. I need to restart the teddybear story as well
>Ah, I see. Now the censored swears make sense. Pastebin's policies really have gone off of the deep end.
Yeah it seems like you can get away with one or two 'shit's but if you go with a few of them and/or 'fuck', 'cock', 'porn' then the system gets mad about it, even if it's part of a legit word
>Who did the later commentary on the shuttlecock story? They have a point about not every story needing huge escalation.
I did, there's a couple drafts I ended up adding notes or contextless thoughts to at the very bottom

Dunno if you have a Pastebin account but you can also sent people DMs on that site if that's necessary

Should Golden Girl/Guardian's eyes just simply be golden?

It only makes sense really.

I don't have any problem with anyone making their own choice
I personally always fill her eyes in black, but I'm also still getting comfortable with using color so I don't feel I would be the expert

Great Job

I'm loving reading through this

Anyone else having trouble posting?
It keeps crashing for me

>It only makes sense really.
Why do people keep saying that? It totally does not.

yeah, thanks for the save btw. Any Forums is fucking screwy today.

I remember it being said that Silver Queen has silver eyes. Then it makes sense for GG to have golden eyes. Like George Lucas would said, "It rhythms."

>I remember it being said that Silver Queen has silver eyes.
I can't find ANY mention of that being a thing in the archives. Nor can I imagine WHY it would be a thing.

Because if user spams it eventually he can claim that everyone agrees with him.
Truth is Silver Queen has closed eyes. That's their color. Not open. IF she had to has an eye color it'd likely be blue, seeing as how Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman all have blue eyes and they're her chief inspirations.
As for Audrey her having gold eyes makes no sense and is likely a dumb thing from that /aco/ guy that is essentially trying to make an OC that's modern era with superpowers and is too lazy or dumb to just drop the act.

Don't forget Any Forumslette's other daughter

I remember it being said that she had silver eyes. Or maybe I'm imagining it, I dunno.

I'm not from /aco/. I don't post there and I barely even go there.

what does OC mean when it comes to community characters?

Happy mother's day. I don't have any character in mind because most of my ocs who happen to be mothers are also lesbian mothers (?) lol

Original Character

>when it comes to community characters

as opposed to OC of copyrighted characters

sorry

I'm from the/aco/ but I don't agree nor care what he's doing to GG. From what I gathered it looks like he's trying to turn her into a supergirl type hero. It really doesn't big be but it did give me an idea I might do later, you'll see.
As for the eye color, I think it's best as black or pupilless. Golden looks like she's being hypnotized but at the same time it's whatever for me.

It’s also Mother’s Day for Be/ck/y as well
Wonder what kid cookie will get for his momma

>Or maybe I'm imagining it, I dunno.
I'm pretty sure you did, because that's just ridiculous.

>If you can elaborate on this later on when you have free time, I'd like to hear your reasoning
That way you don't need to have all of the super kids established from the start and if you have a need for a certain power as a plot demands, you can just say they're from some other class.

> I thought it was a few minutes difference between her and Rudy
I was always under the impression she was like a year older than him. Just from the designs and how much more entrenched she was in the social hierarchy.

>I need to restart the teddybear story as well
Don't fall for the trap of feeling you need to re-do things over and over after each new idea. You never get anything done that way, trust me, I'd never finish a story if I acted on every "but I can do it better now, I've improved since then" impulse. At some point you just need to move forward to the next plot and apply everything you learned from the last plot to the next one.

I think her eyes should be brown or green.
I associate yellow eyes with disease or evil intent.
"He had yellow eyes! Yellow eyes!"

The shade you have in the pic isn't bad though. It's brown enough to not feel supernatural.

The next part is one I have some notes for that have been on the wiki page where the GG scripts are being kept.
Should I move the Bullion scripts to the same page? It might not be too bad if I can figure out how to use wikia's spoiler feature so each story is contained in their own collapsible "folder".

I thought Silver Queen had tarnished silver eyes to indicate how blind she was? But then again, she's not actually blind so I don't know how much merit the idea has.

Who could? There was a pic of her I wanted to post, but I felt the mods these days would've banned me if I had.

>I thought Silver Queen had tarnished silver eyes to indicate how blind she was?
No, that's what the hero-squint represents.

You don't associate yellow eyes with Honor?

Attached: Honor.jpg (540x540, 72.67K)

Nope, he's not the first character to come to mind when I hear yellow eyes.
Ratigan is what comes to my mind first when I think yellow eyes. Second is the narration from A Christmas Story.

Right.
I have one scene planned for near the climax of the Bullion code arc for when Silver Queen actually opens her eyes.

What about sci fi robots?

I only remember his eyes as being black. When I watched TNG, it was always in poorer quality.

imagined maybe, but ridiculous seems like a pretty strong word when it comes to superheroes.

Wouldn't being a freckled redhead require green or blue eyes?

I tried googling it. Got mixed results
>cosmopolitan.com/uk/beauty-hair/hair/a32357/redhead-facts/
>Blue eyes and red hair forms the rarest combo on earth. Most (natural) redheads will have brown eyes, followed by hazel or green shades.
It's worth considering that red hair is overrepresented in fiction where exotic combinations are already more common. And as for Audrey specifically it's worth noting hair is more brown-red than true red.
It's a pun. It's AUburn hair. CHESTnut hair.

I suddenly desire a gif of Golden Girl attempting a rimshot on the drums and messing it up

She is really hot in this shot.

She's always hot.

Going with green eyes may be the least offensive eye color for redheads in fiction. You can't really go wrong with it I suppose. Maybe I should go with it.

>I'm from the/aco/ but I don't agree nor care what he's doing to GG. From what I gathered it looks like he's trying to turn her into a supergirl type hero. It really doesn't big be but it did give me an idea I might do later, you'll see.

I always imagined 90s GG as an amalgam of different superheroines. She has a bit of the Rogue look with her bandana and feathered hair. She blocks attacks with her bangles like Wonder Woman. She's strong LIKE Supergirl but I never imagined her as strong as Supergirl. When it comes to bullet resistance I never got a clear answer from anybody. Personally I like to imagine that bullets don't kill her (outright) but do beat her up (creating large welts) so its worth dodging or blocking them.

Regardless I'm glad I at least inspired you.

Looking good.

Yeah, in this instance with Pinprick also having yellow eyes, a contrast is better.

We can all at least agree that Katya has blue eyes. Most of the art I've seen has it that way.

So moving forward with Bullion is going to take a little while. They still need to actually recruit Iris and I have a pretty clear way to do that, but then beyond that I'm not sure how to get from one plot point to the next.

One thing I want to float this is this:
Alfred was killed off the first time because Batman comics were accused of making kids gay and National Comics (DC) implemented the comics code authority to avoid government oversight. So they killed Alfred and introduced Dick's aunt to give Wayne manor a female presence. With that in mind, the code got rid of Lucia because with Audrey moved out, they didn't want Sarah and Lucia being mistaken for gay despite the fact she'd been around since before Audrey moved in.

That's the meta-logic the code is running on. But meta-logic doesn't translate way into actual narrative. There needs to be a connective thread Bullion and co. can follow to get somewhere.
There's only so far I can go without discussion.

So are you talking bringing in a male counterpart that was created specifically by the code to "relieve" Lucia of her duties terminator style?

Been a while since I visited here. Have you guys finished working on the Halloween comic? I remember there was 5-6 pages at the time. I also remember there wouldn’t be a thread without that jackhammer. Was he forgotten?

Thought he popped up a few time recently
don't know, was never one of the things I payed much attention too myself

All of the draft pages are done.

imgur.com/a/vuahJfw

Inks are currently in progress. Last update we had was the week before last.
SLA is still working on anatomy so it'll take a while.

I hadn't considered that. I'm mainly trying to find in-universe motivations for the code that the characters can actually make sense of. Right now it is sort of an unknowable alien entity for them.

Think they might need the BIGRAC computer to analyze the jar?

That's a good opportunity to introduce Iris to BIGRAC, though should she still have access to technology she salvaged from a villain who traveled back in time?
What can the supercomputer do though? And I mean, I don't remember exactly what the old Batcomputer could do as a point of reference. Could it just do anything the plot needed it to do?

Signs do point to visiting Sterling Skyscraper next, but should that be before or after they try to use Billy's voice to forcibly make people remember those who have been snatched?

its just me concepting. I'm actually trying to go for more of a Ivan Drago/Terminator feel.

congratulations on the draft. I think you did a great job with the panels and creating dramatic effect and tension with a lot of them.

Looking at the imgur link, some of the inks are starting to appear on at least one of the pages.

They could conduct science on it using the BIGRAC
The bat-computer was basically a story convenience device
Analyze, shot with lasers, find cures
"Robin, hit the narrative advancement button!"

Do you think the censor jar would accidently break at some point and go after Lucia? Or do you think it's presence there might draw the uncaptured code to their location?

I would think the voice thing would depend on if Iris was awake or needed to have time to recover.
Was there other characters you planned to bring in that would have been effected to have him use the voice thing on?
Personally would be amused by them trying to use it on Silver Queen and she stops to take out her hypnosis canceling earplugs.
One of those "Do you always wear those?" "Doesn't seem that silly now, does it?" moments

We don't know what the state of the USSR is during the 90s.
There was an idea floated that it collapsed but went underground in the form of "The Bloc". Or that it never fell but reformed itself into a new state also called The Bloc.

Who knows. The point being is that the red star is a catchall commie symbol until we know what happened.

The discussions we had two years ago had them using Billy's voice to really ask Girl Glory about Granny Glory and that would cause her to begin to remember, then by stopped from remembering by having her eyes shut.
The code keeps the eyes of the SoS shut all the time, so extending that to other characters was an idea. It almost feels redundant now after the censor bars, but that was the Pastor Bot's idea of how to use the code's power.

Maybe they go to BIGRAC, try to analyze it, don't get much more than the chemical composition of ink, Silver Queen catches them at some point (or maybe just Audrey), then reveals she doesn't remember who Lucia is. She suspects someone else is with Audrey in the Silver Sanctum though.
They go to ask Girl Glory since they're out of leads, her eyes shut, they realize that is a connection, the SoS come after them thinking Billy is controlling Bullion, but then... how to get to where the code is taking people? Maybe the pastor bot is the door? I don't plan on having him survive the story, not as the sapient being the code forced him into being at least.

I definitely get the Drago feel, no as much the terminator
Is it a sleeve or a replacement arm?
You could definitely go more roboty if it was a replacement

Also maybe higher boots and some leg belt straps

Attached: 96a1b4eae6ce4f0bf70f20ee8585ec4e.jpg (474x670, 71.98K)

was just trying to think of commie symbols that weren't quite as winter soildery

It could be the pastor launches his own attack on the code but sacrifices himself to destroy the code but that just creates a concentration of energy that can be used as the door to the others?
If any of that makes sense?

Still don't know if she has a real arm. I liked the idea but others were against it. Sleeve works too I guess, but I can't do cool joints and piston stuff.

I mean, I could, but it will have to be very bulky looking.

I was trying to do a Cable thing at some point too, but I don't know how receptive everybody was to it. I dunno.

Attached: IA001.jpg (1051x1152, 227.07K)

It does make some sense, it reminds me something I was told about from a book a long time ago about people being doors who are killed when you walk through them.

The idea with the code specters and the abducted people is that they've been taken to a stepford-esque dimension where everything is the rosy filter 1950s and they're being forced to play out their roles, or it's trying to find a way to make them play out roles that fit with its vision of reality.
But that falls a little short since there are different reasons why a character would be nixed by the CCA. A character being gay, undead, or a rock 'n' roll greaser all go against the code in some way or another and would usually not be allowed into print, but it can't just get rid of characters who are "important" to the story without any fanfare, so it's forced to change them.
But then there are characters who have been retired, either because they weren't popular or because they rights expired or they fell into the public domain.
And then there is the case of characters removed just because the publishers were told some group of people got the wrong impression.
This is the problem we ran into before with the real world rationals of the CCA not translating very well into an in-universe entity.

I'm pro robot arm, its not like she couldn't have a new one cloned if she wanted it back

Attached: arm 3.png (584x551, 214K)

Is it Great Glory 1 or 2 that was taken?
Cause I remember Glory Girl was the third I think

Granny Glory is the first Great Glory.

If Iron Assailant appears in the 90s, I feel it should be her 90s self and not a sent from the future version of herself. Someone else could be sent from the future though.
But that's just me. I get kind of mad at time travel plots unless it follows its own internal logic and the plot is thought out fully ahead of time so that if future events are happening concurrently with past events which have been shown, then those can be hinted at before the story catches up with them.

Nah keep I don't think she should have a prosthetic arm at all. Feels like it is copying a cliche Winter soldier vibe. It'd be cool to just code her arm with metal instead.

Goodnight everyone.

Work picks up for me this week, so we'll see how much progress I can make on the next Bullion script this week.

I remember that, I couldn't remember if she was the one taken by the code

Hope to see what you come up with

SaburoX has already given us what we need.

when was that from?

Saburo's is already perfect, just make her look like the Terminator or something like a bulk assassin woman from the '90s.

Nighty night
you guys have a good one

I miss this guy's old work, already giving me nostalgia.

>though should she still have access to technology she salvaged from a villain who traveled back in time?
That doesn't work too well because we never did that story in the first place. There's nothing for us to work with.

Good morning

She was. The idea there is she fell into the public domain and no one company keeps using a public domain character since they can't monetize them the same.

It's an old idea that was discussed yeas ago. One of the GG stories near the end of high school would have a time traveling villain and at the end Iris would salvage some tech or be corrupted by it or something along those lines. That discussion bled into Bullion discussion when trying to figure out how Iris would become Foresight.

Then we'd need an earlier take on Foresight without the scouter and drones.

Attached: 1479626015433.png (1125x1745, 158.48K)

Foresight fusing with the Code would be really cool.

She becomes Foresight as a result of having already had a brush with the code.
Like she's now going to take things into her own hands after being involved directly.

So she'd be a hero who gets the same powers as the villain?

It's more like she's one of those detective sort of characters.
I don't think Iris should ever have powers herself, at least not when she is herself.

You know, because of the name Foresight, it makes me think about I2Eye… didn’t some user said one of his underlings is named that? I know there was Cataract…

Yeah, Foresight's more of a tech-based spy/detective hero.

I don't think he used foresight as a name for one of those, but I can't remember since there were so many eye puns flying around.

The idea I have is Iris puts on a coat and some sunglasses at first and calls herself Foresight just because she wanted to see if anyone would be able to tell the difference with them on and off.
If people really are dumb enough not to recognize her then maybe she feels a bit better, but if everyone is wondering why Iris is hanging out with Bullion, the superhero, then she'd be angry.

>if everyone is wondering why Iris is hanging out with Bullion then she'd be angry.
this would amuse me

It would need to be from people who would recognize her though.
Or would random people on the streets work just as well?

Foresight is kinda boring if she's mostly just a support character that spends her time studying tech. If she's a more actiony spy than that's way more exciting.

Either way I think would be funny

If wanting to tie it into the larger story sense of the world, I would think you'd either have to have Iris create a bigger stink than just have her call out Audrey in school (volunteering for junior reporter for newspaper or station with breaking story that everyone laughs off as a joke. Calling Audrey out in events like carnivals or sport ball games but no one believes her) or have a chain of people that start with school mates and with the next crowd having someone who was there from the last time to parrot the comment until everyone knows.

Right now I'm still trying to get some discussion going for the type of character she should be. Foresight at day 1.

Maybe everyone in Platinum City is already familiar with her. She said it constantly. Maybe she went to Knox City not only to stalk Audrey, but to get away from everyone already familiar with her.

She's had a spy vibe right from the design. I don't get why people think she'd be anything else.

The trench coat combined with her little scanner makes her look like she's mostly a managerial hands-off type of character. She looks like she spends most of her time walking at a brisk pace in hallways to get to another terminal.

I imagine applying for schools would be difficult for her
>Ah yes, Miss Lodell. While we acknowledge you're academic prowess, we draw your attention to you're paper "Land Of The Blind: How Can We Call It An Educational System If Everyone Is An Idiot But Me?" We feel that accepting someone as critical to our methods of teaching would have a negative effect on your classmates. So we'll not be accepting you. Good day to you madam. I say good day!

Likely, but not what I'll be covering next.

I know
just like making funny interactions

I'm hoping I'll have some time in a couple hours to put in at least some work on the next script before I need to go to bed.

Has Olympian changed design wise at all going into the Bouillon era?

Attached: Shared Annoyence color.png (782x708, 204.45K)

I've been packing for a move, so that would explain a little of the lack of random questions and attempts at dumb humor.
Bullion writing seems to have been busy with work.
not sure for the rest.

Other real life obligations.

Shading looks nice. The pink visor... I'm feeling it.

Just a more ripped up cape I think. Something to show he's been on the lamb.
And...

Bullion #7

Page 1
Panel 1
Iris is sitting at a table with her arms folded, she's frowning and has her eyebrows furrowed in a squint of annoyance.

Panel 2
Audrey and Billy in their civvies are sitting at the same table. Audrey looks nervous, Billy's eyes are looking over at Audrey, Olympian's head is sticking out of the big handbag on Billy's lap.

Panel 3
Side view of the table, Iris is looking up and away with her eyes closed. Billy has thrown a hand up in the air in frustration, Audrey has a hand on his shoulder to keep him from standing up, Olympian is trying not to get thrown.
Iris: "I refuse."
Billy: "Oh, come on! She just saved your life!"
Iris: "Yeah, thanks for that. But I still refuse."

Panel 4
Audrey is still seated and calm, she has her hands folded on the table. One each side of her head is a thought bubble, one with Granny Glory, one with Roller Betty.
Audrey: "We just want to know if you remember who these people are."
Iris, off panel: "Admit it."

That's all I have right now.

Page 2
Panel 1
Iris has stood up, she has a one hand on the table, the other is pointing accusingly at Audrey who is leaning back now. In the background a librarian is shushing her. They are in the Knox University library.
Iris: "First admit that you are Golden Girl!"

Panel 2
Audrey is still leaning back, looking up, now with a hand to her head, a 'not this again' look. Billy is leaning over with a hand over his mouth whispering to her.
Billy: "Maybe just let me do the talking this time?"
Audrey: "No."

Panel 3
Small panel, maybe part of a sequence? I'm not sure how this page would flow. Audrey has stood up and is walking over to Iris.
Audrey: "Iris."

Panel 4
Audrey has put both of her hands on Iris's shoulders.
Audrey: "I'm not Golden Girl."

Panel 5
Close up of Iris's face, she's beat red with anger. She's gripping Audrey's arms with her hands trying to pull her off.
Iris: "You-!"
Audrey: "Anymore."

Panel 6
Audrey leans in so her mouth is by Iris's ear, so she can speak directly into it.
Audrey: "I go by Bullion now."

What are Billy's civvies in this era?

I mentioned in script #5 I think that today he's wearing jeans, a buttoned up shirt and an unbuttoned vest on top of that.

I really need a place to store these scripts since pastebin is being shitty with their censors. They didn't like that I made censors the bad guys apparently.

Just an older looking fox with a worn out wardrobe.

I wonder if hoodies where around between the late 40s and mid 50s.

Hoodies were invented in 1930, but did not become fashionable until the 1970s and were not named "hoodies" until the 1990s according to google.

Thanks for the info, I can't believe I didn't bother to look it up myself.

And I need to go to bed. Maybe I'll be able to get more going with the Bullion script tomorrow.
The flow of it feels wrong right now.

Goodnight.

Is that the Golden girl Script page on the conservatory fandom site?

I thought we stopped using the Pastebin site

nighty night bump

I took a nap during the day and now I'm not going to sleep when I should.

Attached: HRpg10q.jpg (1531x1203, 621.06K)

Good morning

I'm hesitant to put the Bullion scripts on there since the scripts page is pretty long already, but I might have to for lack of an alternative.
It's not like they can't be edited on the wiki just as easily as pastebin.

You think because wearing hoodies at those time looked trashy to their modern standards? Iooking at those times, everyone worn proper clothes like suits and button up shirts. I'm sure if anyone wearing those kind of clothes except in winter would look like a slob or troublemaker.

Or a girl wearing the sports sweater of her high school/college sweetheart.

I think that happened more around the 60s then in the 50s and 80s. Whenever I think of a boy wearing a hoodie between the 40s and 50s he's probably an sneaky miscreant or an orphan boy that that has no sense of wearing proper clothing.

>80s
I meant 40s.

You think SS's Dad worn a hoodie back in those days when he was a young guy? And when I mean young like in his very early 20s when Audrey was GG?

Possibly, if he was the father of SS then he should at least be some what of a speedster like his son. maybe not have the same powers like SS but just be a very fast villain but not "The Flash" level.

His dad could have been 20yo during the 70s-80s so yeah I guess. Maybe he was a Nascar driver or something.

Or something like Knight Rider were his car or cycle is an extension of himself.

Attached: 649h8gptguy21.jpg (2434x3049, 713.21K)

Yeah, he probably also might have to be a really mean asshole like speedster that would able to get PP pregnant. That's one way she be able to accept his kid.

I'd like to think SS's dad is physically faster than an average human and older than PP like maybe his mid 50s and retired of being a villain. That's why his isn't seen or heard from, because he doesn't want to share his stolen riches to his baby mama or mamas lol! It sounds more interesting

Like he ditched and darted out of a relationship after relationship?

If he were to come across Audrey in the 50s I'm sure she wouldn't be able to take him on her own. She would probably need help taking him down considering how fast he is.

Who would you have in mind that would assist GG taking him down due to his speed advantage then?

These two. If the Crusaders have their own villain like that clown king, then why don't we give these two their own villain? They'll finally have their time to shine and do some action for once

Attached: 8a0afd65475f01efecd0bc541c1a2d05d05785e7.png (594x533, 105.19K)

His power isn't speed, it's just dodge.
Not even Matrix Agent dodging, just comical cartoon dodging.

So he dodged raising a lot of kids.

>dodged raising a lot of kids.
Ditched and Darted from every gal he got in a relationship with. He could have had kids with some of those women but it's not really important. PP is probably one of chicks he got pregnant due to not being able to clean up after himself. I'm sure the intercourse between the two was very dangerous especially for him lol!

Right, dodge. but I wouldn't want his dad to have the same powers and his son. it seems too copy and paste for me. Plus I think a low to mid level speedster in GG sounds cool.

What do you do when you're "fast" and a "sharp" object is aimed and coming at you?
Easy, You "dodge" it! Makes sense doesn't it?

Fast+Sharp=Dodge
*sigh* in a way, yeah I do.

More like he was probably the only man who COULD fuck her without getting run through.

The joke is he gets it from his father, WHO DODGED RAISING HIM. And I mean that is a joke in the script and the only mention of his father.
He probably won't come up more beyond that.

>Ditched and Darted
Great and I already thought of the perfect name, Ditch Dart. Because he ditches everyone and darts away. He may even ditches the code, jk! Yeah that's a bit too far lol!

Do you think it would be worth splitting the script page into different pages?
Not sure how you might separate them
Think we might have enough from her other eras that it would be worth making their own page so they don't take up too much room?

Not sure how the code back in the day felt about dead beat dads
Though I guess storyline wise he would just be a lady's man up until the story needed to show what living like that would do.

I think at least one or two half siblings would have to show up at some point if this was his life, but maybe not even fully address the connection at first

Attached: dad statue.png (1199x897, 1M)

The room issue can be solved if I just find the wikia tag for collapsible folders/spoiler tags. If each script was in its own folder, then the page wouldn't be very long at all.

Same for other pages on the wiki which serve as script repositories.

maybe his dad could have been a speedster back in the golden days but got injured and older in the 80s. So he had to resort to only dodge good now and barely survived PP.

Doesn't mean I can't come up with his own origin or create a character for the Golden age. I really want these two to fight him as a speedster. I'm just feeling in the gaps of what his father would have been in the 50s is all.

>feeling
Filling, my bad.

>lady's man
And a bad boy type like James Dean that ever girl would fall for if wouldn't have common sense, knowing that he's going to ditch them anyways. Idk, something like that. I'll keep it in mind.

So do you have any scripts for today you might share? just wondering is all.

I'm still going to be busy for the next four or five hours.
After that I'll see how tired I am and if I feel up to continuing the Bullion #7 script.

Same, I don't get out till 7 hours from now. Really tired yesterday too, that's why I commented once and late I think. Can't really remember, and then I fell asleep early. Looking forward to whatever you got though thanks for the response.

Some should draw Iris in that suit and pose.

Bump

that latex suit plus her 50's hair and glasses would make look very dommy looking.

cuter edit

Attached: file.png (374x270, 16.98K)

That's nice!

That is pretty cute.

While holding a book instead of a gun

Yeah I can still see that working. You should also add a smoke to the face too instead of a smile.

>smoke to the face
Sorry I meant "smugged face" I'm getting too many typos today.

you guys are sick in the head. Iris would never wear something like that. She's far too pure to be that lewd.

Attached: Iris_backside.jpg (797x1218, 115.76K)

Nice!

If Iris had an evil twin, would she be called Cornea?

Is Iris a lezbin?

I guess but how would an evil twin fit in?

Attached: 6bae18ebc5ddcbd2f32f35e49b3ad139182cfe2b.png (1104x1546, 427.41K)

>Is Iris a lezbin?
Yes, that's how she violates the Code. She doesn't realize it for quite some time, though, as I see it.

Was more curious if someone living in a comic book world who was caught doing something they would be embarrassed about would just claim it must have been an evil twin.

Iris being someone that would believe others to be much more gullible

Hmm. Maybe that pose would work for page 3 panel 3.

Page 3
Panel 1
Close up of Iris's head, she's still red with anger and frowning, she basically steaming.

Panel 2
Iris pushes Audrey away and has turned around. Audrey is looking at her confused.
Iris: "Fine."
Audrey: "Fine?"

Panel 3
Iris is holding up a small notepad and looking back at Audrey.
Iris: "Of course I've noticed people missing. Follow me."

Panel 4
A hand from off panel is pushing open a door labeled "Newspaper Archives"

Panel 5
The door opens into a dark room filled with shelves and shelves all with stacked newspapers on them.

Page 4
Panel 1
A large scrap book is slammed on the table by Iris, whose hand is on top of it.
Iris, off panel: "Here."

Panel 2
Audrey, Billy and Olympian are looking through the scrapbook with Iris standing off to the side. One arm crossed, the other arm raised up in exasperation as she's looking slightly up at the ceiling while talking.
Iris: "Photos, printed articles, awards, medals. All of the documentation of these people existing still exists."

Panel 3
Iris is leaning down over the table holding a photo of Granny Glory being awarded a war medal.
Iris: "But show any of this to anyone and it's like they're looking at a blank piece of paper."

Panel 4
Audrey is holding the photo, looking at it while Iris points to her chest.
Iris: "Just like trying to point out the two most obvious reasons why you are... Bullion."

Panel 5
Billy is scratching his head.
Billy: "I don't get it, how does it all tie together?"

>Is Iris a lezbin?

oh, I'd only ever seen it addressed in the /aco/ stuff
Didn't think it was actually accepted by anyone as part of the story

Not totally satisfied with the dialogue. I feel like there's a disconnect between Audrey's theory and their response to it.

Page 5
Panel 1
The four of them are around the table in silence, Iris and Audrey both have a hand to their chins, Billy is still holding his head, Olympian is up on the table. If there's a speech bubble it's just "..."

Panel 2
Audrey is the first to break the silence, pulling out the jar of censor sludge. The black substance is sticking to the side furthest away from her.
Audrey: "When this was on your eyes, you couldn't see them, right? You don't think that..."

Panel 3
Audrey puts the jar on the table. Her hand is on top of it, so the sludge is on the bottom where gravity would put it.
Audrey: "Maybe whatever this is, it's in everyone, just in smaller amounts."

Panel 4
Close up of the jar. Olympian is looking at the jar from one side, it's fogged up from his breath. Billy is looking at it from the other side. What we're seeing at their reflections on the glass maybe? Still not sure what sort of container it's in.
Olympian: "Then why aren't we afflicted? And Granny Glory never took any special notice of you, so if it was in her, why'd she get grabbed?"
Billy: "Betty never made no mention of your bosoms either, so what sets this thing off?"
Iris, off panel: "A war hero and a floozy, not much in common there." (optional line maybe).

Panel 5
Audrey is picking up the jar again while Billy and Olympian's heads are still on the table.
Audrey: "I don't know, but let's start with figuring out what this is made of."

Do you picture the sludge as a cross between TV static and venom symbiote?

Attached: 46529972-tv-static-noise.png (450x450, 345.88K)

I picture it more like a melted black censor bar. So more symbiote.
The code "ghosts" would be more like what you posted, which are the source of the sludge. Like a physical manifestation that make them able to more directly interact with the world, but also makes them vulnerable to the world.

As in some remnants of the word censored swimming around in it?

Attached: words words words.jpg (600x600, 17.18K)

>So more symbiote.
The authoritarian nature of the code does make it a good fit for assimilation based concepts

Like a living melting Black candle shape?

Maybe the letters can form the shadows in the creases when it starts trying to form a face.

Truthfully, I only half-way know how to get to where I'm going right now.
The idea that it might be in everyone already, or in everything already, might make for some good terror.

Sort of. When it's inert it's more like ink I think.

So there is a way to do collapsible folders on the wiki, but the "expand" button is really small and shoved to the right. I'm concerned that people reading the pages won't notice them.

Should I go ahead with that anyway?

Sure! As long as we are still able to read it.

Btw, will their be any more script for the night? Or wait till tomorrow?

It's as simple as clicking the [Expand] button. I just don't like how small it is.
I'll probably edit the script pages on the wiki (not just the GG one) to have each script/story in its own folder.

I have to go to bed shortly to wake up for work tomorrow. Or rather to have enough time in the morning tomorrow to not feel like shit when it comes time for work.

Have you been enjoying them? I feel like I'm just flooding the threads with them at times as I push the story ahead.

I say go for it

Doesn't it automatically expand the section if you click on it from the table of contents from the top section too?

Attached: Parker get me more pictures of Golden Girl.jpg (684x534, 70.04K)

I have no idea. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

GG scripts page, IKAG scripts page, the Monster Kid School page, probably the Hazel page as well. All of those I likely should add those collapsible folders to.
I'll have to go down the stories tag.

Nice pics by the way.

Anyway, goodnight everyone.

Thanks
Trying to get a better flow when drawing
sleep well

Oh yes I have. Even though they are a bit rushed, I can get a clear idea of the situation your bring up. Take your time too when you gotta, their no sense of pushing yourself. That's fine too, I also got to get up early but not too early since I don't work till almost noon. Good luck, see you in the morning!
That's a hot sketch btw, thanks for doing it!

Bump

Nighty night fellas

Good morning

Neat.

Good morning

Did that one user ever finish redesigning the celtic season themed magical girls?

Attached: lily1.png (623x717, 42.95K)

Nope, haven't seen him since last year.

It's hump day my dudes! What shall we discuss for today?

Maybe discuss if Any Forumsnrad ever gotten a comic completed?

Iris.

I'd like a greentext recap on her.

Will we ever get to see them fight SS's Dad?

More Bullion scripts is all I care about.

>Iris Lodell
>Same age as Audrey Page
>In the same high school classroom as Audrey Page
>Able to notice Audrey's boobs
>Realizes Audrey is Golden Girl
>No one believes her and brushes her off as crazy
>Becomes obsessed with proving it
>High strung, bossy, almost like a brat throwing a tantrum at times
>Except she's right, she knows she's right, we know she's right, she can't prove to anyone that she's right
>Audrey realizes there's no point trying to expose Billy or Katya
>It's just another facet of the world Audrey lives in which she accepts, blindly
>/aco/ says she's gay
>Sparks "code immunity" arguments which are annoying and unproductive

>fast forward a few years
>Iris is in college now
>Iris didn't just notice Golden Girl, but everything else "wrong" or lacking with the rest of the world's basic reasoning skills
>Kept notes on all the people erased from the world's view
>Gets corrupted by the very thing making people blind to the facts
>Gets saved by Audrey
>Still mad at her, but teams up with her against the thing that's made her look like a fool for years
>Puts on a coat and calls herself Foresight to see what the other side it like
>Everyone knows it's her, even the random civilians
>Gets involved in super heroics/detective work

>fast forward more years
>TECHNOLOGY marches on
>Iris is investigating the things no one else can see
>Frequently works with the second generations of the SoS when confronting them

>fast forward even more years
>Iris discovers something new, different from the censors, darker
>She's determined to figure out what it is since it is changing the world around her again
>This time, the SoS believe her from the get-go since Audrey knows well enough to trust her

Thanks. Good greentext

Is Rocker Billy's last name?

Rockwell’s been pitched in the past. Got a nice double meaning to it, so I like it.

Attached: dodl 5 9 22.png (4000x3000, 660.43K)

who draws these for the threads

Who is in the 2nd generation of SoS?
I think I've heard the twins, Glory 3 and Audrey.
Was there any others added?

Foresight is probably also in it.

That one looks like a mix of bug and gob.

>Is Iris a lezbin?

Yes, but she will get dicked eventually.

Foresight is indeed a member, along with Ebony Editor. I see them as sort of spiritual successors to Black Rose and Connie Cosmos, filling the “spy” and “otherworldly” roles. I’ve also suggested the idea of direct successors to Crimson Cat and Donna Dynamo, but I keep running into some fairly bizarre resistance to the former.

I thought the twins were the Black Rose replacements?

Despite working my way towards the Ebony Editor's origin she's the black sludge in the jar right now I keep forgetting she exists.

>Rockwell
Funny, I was thinking about that name even without knowing anything from the past.

>Ebony Editor
Who the heck is that?

>>/aco/ says she's gay
Any Forums said this first.
Also there's a step before Foresight where she's a villain but that's many many theads ago and I forget what she was supposed to be calling herself then. Lady Something, I think.

Personally, I don’t give much thought to the Twins, since I was on the losing end of that argument.

The Code entity that turns good a la Silver Surfer. The name’s a placeholder until we come up with something more creative.

Bug, Gob and Walr

/aco/ brought it up first, then it came to Any Forums as an explanation for why she isn't blind, then it was argued about for years.
Her being a villain was an idea for near the end of the Girl era where she'd salvage tech from a villain who came from the future and be corrupted by it. The idea didn't go anywhere and it was recycled in concept into the Bullion era some two and a half years ago.

Sort of like Wildcats's Void?

Attached: 63f83762c31800c9205f50827869c23e.jpg (236x654, 35.21K)

THEFAPV update: 2slow4me
I open my program to work on it but just stare and do other things instead. I forget to come here to update but I'm now at panel 195/270
Good luck to everyone else out there

Attached: Wip5i11i22.png (170x194, 14.83K)

I don’t know anything about Wildcats, so…maybe?

Glad someone enjoys them. At some point maybe some of the other script writing anons in these threads will take an interest, but it's fine if they don't.

Should all of the sections on the script pages be collapsed? Or just some of them?

Bump

Was talking look wise, like a blacker look instead of the silver, or would it not even have a face

Ahh. Yeah, more censor-bar black than silver, though I see it being more all-over than the exposed face Void has. (And she DOES have a face. Before the sludge thing came along, I had it in my head that she'd gain eyes and sentience at the same time. Symbolic and all that shit.)

Attached: 1621213861706.png (2465x2977, 1.25M)

Was there ever talk about her in the Golden Guardian era and how she would interact with bronze buster?

I had an idea for a scene where Iris would be on the video phone up on the BIGRAC screen, off investigating the super serum found in the Candy Men's gum and BB would be commenting why come she hasn't gotten to meet the rest of the SoS yet.
The idea is the super power granting chemical in the gum would be a widespread problem across cities in the drug trafficking distribution line.

If we go with the "Sylikon seeks out the 'Darkness' route" than it would only be natural that Iris fills BB in on its existence.

So I've added the first Bullion script to the wiki page after getting all of the necessary formatting code in (which is tedious to do) and it seems that the collapsible folders aren't collapsed by default, which defeats the purpose of them keeping the page from being super long when you open it.

Wait, no, it just more extra lines in the code to make that the default.

This is going to take a while to do with all the extra line break codes needed.

OK, that's all the Bullion scripts that I've "finished" writing up on the wiki now.

the-conservatory.fandom.com/wiki/The_Developing_Adventures_of_Golden_Girl/Scripts#BULLION_ERA

I don't think I'm going to make any progress on #7 today.

Dude, you have done so much for the script page, no worries about having to write too
We appreciate the dedication

But I am the user who has been writing the Bullion scripts. I don't think someone else is going to do that.
Unless you mean not worrying about doing more today.

I have an idea of where I'm going with it, but the details of place-to-place are still undecided.
When should Iris put on her coat? Before they go to Sterling Skyscraper or later?

Nicely done

This reminds me
Should scripts that have been drawn have the comic put under it?

No, the page is only for scripts that haven't been drawn. I have a link at the top of that page to the plus4chan thread where drawn comics are posted. If a script gets drawn, I remove it from the page when the comic is posted to that thread.
I don't like hosting images on wikia in general, they make it difficult to re-save them in their original formats.

Talking today

And on that note, goodnight everyone.
Maybe tomorrow I won't be so tired or busy. Or there's always next thread.

Anyone have a good ref for clothing with vertical writing on it?
trying to imagine how a sentient censor bar might look

You guys have a good one
Nighty night

I'll probably regret this drawing because I'd hate to have to explain that its referencing that Danger Girl cover.

good night

Attached: Iris_backside2.jpg (797x1218, 206.86K)

While the danger girl cover is the direct reference
It isn't exactly out of the ordinary for characters or even real life people to strike a pose like that
>Here's a book I think you should look at, but also my ass
Can't imagine it would need explaining

That's looking really nice! It should definitely be one of the covers for a Bullion comic.

Bump

Bump

Yay or nah on giving her latex?

You know, she looks kinda Asian here.

I may the one who thinks Iron Assailant is sexy.

I like swole amazonians, but she's kinda too muscular for me.

>too muscular for me

Pussy. Also that should be reason for you to try to dominate her in the bed.

When you reach a certain threshold of muscle it's just a glorified man. People who go 'uwoooo musclegirls punchgirls yas queen' are on the same level as regular incels who haven't held another person before and idealise the experience

I doubt you’re the only one. Personally, I like ‘em that big, but even I find her more intimidating than attractive. (As it should be.)

Now the $3,438,032 questions is... how does Audrey masturbate?

Attached: 1560659967530.png (1500x2000, 363.76K)

she just grinds her legs together until she feels something. She never actually used her hands or anything else.

You sound like an incel.

There's nothing wrong into loving a strong woman who can carry you around

Hope Sabrox will do more art this year. Really love his Audrey.

That question is for the aco

With aco you're likely to get a lot of drawn evidence of her in the act

Might as well just rename these to Golden Girl General, since nothing else is really discussed in these threads at this point.

That’s just for the past few weeks because progress has been going to overdrive for Bullion which was really underdelvoped

This thread has been GG-centric but not all of them are like that.

GG comes in waves. Right now it looks like IKAG might be about to have another wave soon as well.

He probably got her a cast iron cookware forged in the depths of a volcano, Satan.

Your welcome to talk about other subjects, GG doesn't have to only exist in the thread.

For a few weeks recently we had a resurgence of the those mighty milf superheroes, but oddly enough not on mothers day.

There are usually a few other projects in the works but I feel the scripts for Bullion have excited a few people in the threads.
I know I tend to ask a lot of questions and post doodles while they are going.

For a while GG threads kept popping up outside of the /coc/ thread with starters like
>why can't superheroes have big chests anymore
and that seemed to drain some of the interest of Audrey picture posting over there while not much story was being done.

I don't know IKAG
I wonder what it could stand for
I Kick Ass... Gnomes?

lel I Don't Know A Guy

So how physical does Foresight get? Or is it all just bots and pistols?

Attached: a393aa0fbc7cc63e76f777d9b4c250e1--ell-superheroes.jpg (736x1132, 212.39K)

I’d imagine she has some combat training. Nowhere near the extent Audrey has, of course, but she can hold her own in emergencies.

I Know A Guy
the-conservatory.fandom.com/wiki/I_Know_a_Guy

I don't have a clear picture in my mind of how she manages herself in a fight. With all the changes made, she doesn't even have her eye drones during Bullion, so I'm still trying to figure out how she can contribute when things get physical.

We have to have an idea of how she fights if she's going to be a superhero.

What if she used a flash bang? Like a camera flash. She has to make up for her lack of powers by messing with her opponents senses.
All of her tools could be things relating to reporting or journalism. Cameras, tape recorders, that sort of thing.

her arms too big?

As in muscles?
I don't think so.

Perfect the way she is dude!

She's around 8 feet tall I wonder how much she weighs same as GGu

7 feet tall, not eight. And I’d say that between her height and her muscles, Audrey’s probably pushing 200 pounds even if you subtract the weight of her chest.

Definitely not 200.
With that much muscle, closer to 275 lbs.

fat weighs a lot less than meat.

AI looks about 280-300 of pure Muscle
And GGu looks at least between 225-250 muscles plus her huge rack.
It's just a guest though.

Seems pretty proportionate

Since the thread is still going, do you think Audrey, Billy, Iris and Olympian would take a bus back to Platinum City since Iris doesn't have her own vehicle or should she just ride with Audrey or Billy?

I think the ride back would be the most organic way to fit in the whole "ask Girl Glory" questions using Billy's voice thing.

Olympian rides with Billy, Billy has his own motorcycle right? I think he should. he should have his own motorcycle and probably learn to ride one before Audrey did. And of course Audrey rides with Iris since Iris would probably be more comfortable, even if she does not really look like she gets along with Audrey at the moment.
Okay so next we're going to Granny Glory then, I'm cool with that.

Yeah, Billy has his own bike. I may or may not have brought that up already. I don't even remember right now.
Bullion has a sidecar, so Iris can ride in that. Maybe she puts on the coat beforehand just to keep warm.

And the idea I'm pondering on is while on the road, they see Girl Glory and maybe some of the other Crusaders fighting a code ghost, stop to help them, fend it off, then have Billy ask Girl Glory trying to get her to remember it and Granny Glory, then Girl Glory's eyes shut like the SoS's eyes. Iris notices the connection later on so she's actually serving a purpose to the plot.
Then they go to Sterling Skyscraper and use BIGRAC for the analysis.

I'm still feeling out the event order for the rest of #7, but that's looking pretty close.

It's all right, I don't think it matters I just think that Billy always had a bike even when he was in high school. Audrey and a sidecar is also cool.
To the crusaders ever know who Billy was or is still a bad guy? If they did meet Billy I think they would probably at first see him as an enemy and attack him right? Maybe I misunderstanding fight or something would be kind of funny. Later Billy uses his singing voice to get girl glory. So far I hope that helped fill out things.

Interesting I might do some art about this sometime possibly.

I'm thinking the encounter with The Crusaders sparks the rumors that Bullion is under Billy's control which reach Silver Queen's attention after the BIGRAC analysis.

But how would they evade the fully assembled SoS? And how many members would already be missing? (i.e. have fallen into public domain and have been removed from publication.)

Saburo's 70s IA.
The one in the works is 90s IA.

>mfw turns out Katya, due to her lack of real social interactions outside military duty, is actually really bashful and prone to cuddling in the sack

There's been a thought in my head that if one of her coworkers at her demolition job asked her out, she'd be caught completely off-guard and have no idea how to respond.

You'd be handling a big russian polar bear woman.

This was a good opportunity to work on my latex skillz.

And yet I couldn't tell you how I do it. Its still a mystery to me.

Those colors popped out nicely! It makes the purple/violent look really badass, literally.

Impressive
Well done good sir

thanks

So like, how does this work? Do we go back to 70s aesthetics after 90s? Like how Scarlet Spider or Electric Superman were phase costumes and they go back to the classic ones?

I'll just be happy if AI doesn't get a metal arm. Armor coated terminator like not winter soldier.

That's kind of why I asked, but also calling her a terminator is probably going to give mixed messages.

Maybe an armor plated Soviet warrior type mixed? I'm not to sure exactly, I'd need to go look up for reference to this. Tomorrow would be best cause it's way past my bed time. If the thread doesn't survive or would rather wait on Sunday that's fine too.
Good night!
