Rest in peace, Wally Wallechinsky

Rest in peace, Wally Wallechinsky.

Didn't expect this arc to go this far.

I don't think he's dead for real. It would make no sense.

Waiting for the scientist bird to say something, he's been silent ever since they knocked him out.

nice quads
Why not? They've killed everyone else so far.
r.i.p. Kirbee

There were those humans in the early story, I am pretty sure they're still alive.

Probably murdered by the rats in the Endtown oppressive regime for looking tasty or something.

As I understand it, a shitton of universes were twisted together and then things went POP and now all those universes are gone.

Maybe he aims to do some sort of soft reboot? Because he's been going very weirdly and aimlessly about his story.

If he actually got his plot organized beforehand this time, I think I'd actually be down with that.
If that is the case though, I'm curious how he'd handle everyone.
Would he completely change their personalities, or just have things line up a bit differently on a second trip?

>endtown thread on Any Forums

I miss the old days. Also, this whole arc was nuts

I learned about Endtown through Any Forums. Dunno why everyone just stopped talking about it, considering there's way terrible comics people don't shut up about. There's been bad calls like making Holly unlikeable and killing her off, but nothing that made me give up on the comic outright. It still has a sort of soul about it like older webcomics, and similar to newspaper comics. Both in the art and writing. Feels like a time capsule.

goddamn I haven't thought about this comic since Any Forums used to talk about it. When the mouse was having flashbacks and we couldn't decide if it was motion blur or mutation.

The story petered out after the Holly saga ended and the raccoon guy went crazy, then every conversation got moved to /trash/

Just like this one will

>There's been bad calls like making Holly unlikeable and killing her off, but nothing that made me give up on the comic outright.
The Pig Arc was garbage and killed the other half of the readerbase that stuck around after the Ship Arc killed the first half.

Anyway, read Topside Tales.

I didn't mind it all that much, mostly I'm just flabbergasted at how useless Kirbee turned out to be after Holly got killed off to give her more protagonism. Considering her and the kid got put on a bus to give the ruffian and Wally's colleague main character roles in this arc, she's clearly boring and not fun to write about.

>There's been bad calls like making Holly unlikeable and killing her off
Thats what made me feel like dropping it, then the author self insert commented on the shitshow that was happening as reaction to it so I just dropped it outright.

Alan's such a nothing character it's a surprise when someone actually remembers his name.

Retards kept posting porn in the threads until Any Forums mods kicked it out of Any Forums, then it moved to trash. Conversation turned into non-stop whining about the comic and Aaron, and anyone who didn't want to complain left since they got tired of the threads being nothing but complaints.

Either they're victims of his off-the-cuff writing style, or he's playing way too far out in the story with their characters.
Neither one is particularly good.

I didn't even know Aaron posted here. I didn't pay much attention to the threads, just kept up with the story. It just pisses me off because it's a complex story overall, but there's very few places where you can discuss it outside of the comic's own comments area.

This dude's a liar, the threads were dead around the wolf riots and the mods deleted them because it was about 5 people necrobumping them to keep them on Any Forums's catalog artificially which promoted them to being deleted entirely.

This whole scene is just unsatisfying, really. Its just a bunch of people standing around going "Oh no, something awful is happening. Better just stand here and not do anything about it."

And thats on top of the fact that if Wally is dead for real, he got killed off by what amounts to author fiat. He didn't make any choice or mistake, he just got possessed and eaten by the spooky evil god because the author wanted it to happen. There is no narrative traction there, no buildup or payoff or catharsis. Just "This happens because I say so".

>"Oh no, something awful is happening. Better just stand here and not do anything about it."
To be fair Duffy did try to do something and got his ass tripped up by Marx for his trouble. Fuck Marx, I wish he was the giant glowing orb that Eye ate instead.
>he just got possessed and eaten by the spooky evil god because the author wanted it to happen
Eye's been in Wally's subconscious for a while but for some reason he was locked out and we have absolutely no idea what let him finally assume direct control after all this damn time. It just kind of happened and boom he'd dead now.

so I stopped readin once Wally Kirbee and that kid got to that one place and Wally was using the Dittos to work in the mines or whatever. What else has happened since then?
