The cape doesn't even have a batwing design to it
This is so lazy

REEEEEEE YOU CANT CRITICIZE THE BATMAN!!!! THE BATMAN IS THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE! IT IS THE CITIZEN KANE OF SUPERHERO MOVIES!

YOU’RE JUST A DISNEH SHILL! A SNYDER FANBOY! Any Forums!

REEEEEEEEEEE

No one making this movie cared.

all this cope, pathetic

『GROUNDED & REALISTIC』

>Batman takes C4 to the face and lives
>Alfred survives C4 unscathed
Sure is grounded and realistic.

Trust Reeves

I mean ins't that the point? The suit is supposed to be a prototype, he's supposed to be a rookie batman.

>IT’S HIS FIRST YEAR!!! EVERYTHING IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK GARBAGE! JUST COSOOM THE PRODUCT, GOY!

isn't that the point though with all cape shit? and aren't they planning a trinity with battinson? so if things go as planned, you will see him with better equipment in the second film, and in the third film he will be just like the modern comic Batman

This is the theory, in truth he'll be the proper Batman for the last 3 minutes of movie 3.

Nah. Bruce will be killed off and replaced with Tim Fox or some black OC.

Matt Reeves hated white people.

The grounded and realistic thing would be no cape at all, no functional use for it

What you don't get is the more "realistic" he dress, the more ridiculous the bat motiff become
If he has to dress as a bat cause that what makes him Batman, then just rool with
It's like Nolan and Revees are ashamed of the source material

Utilitarian nonsense, look at his posture man...

>It's like Nolan and Revees are ashamed of the source material
Because they are.

>A MILLIONARE CAN AFFORD ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY, BUT NIT A BATCAPE, MMMKAYYY! NOW CONSOOME THE MOVIE!

Nolan clearly, but I don't see how you can look at Reeves' absolute love letter to post-Crisis Batman comics and think he's not a true believer.

OK consoomer, explain the shitty batsuit design, what he did to Riddler and that we will get Heath Ledger 3.0?

Not that guy, but the batsuit is gorgeous. It's the best fucking batsuit we've ever had. Affleck's was duct tape, Bale's looked like plastic, and the rest were rubber. This is metal with fabric over it, and it looks amazing.

>Alfred survives C4 unscathed

>unscathed

>this is why he's in the hospital

>Alfred takes C4 face-first
>he isn't horribly disfigured/missing half of his cranium

False dilemma, one costume being shitty doesn't make this one good
Batman Retyrns is a better example of armored Batman
Pattinson's cowl has antennas

Batsuit looked great, it's a fine balance of practicality for live-action and adherence to the comic's design language. There are always nitpicks, but on the whole I think it worked pretty well, subjectively.

Riddler-as-Jigsaw isn't that big a stretch. I like Dini's Private Detective Riddler as much as you do, but making him a psychopathic terrorist is a perfectly fine way to go in a new continuity. Basic gimmick with the riddles worked the same way.

We're not getting another Joker in the sequel, Reeves has explicitly stated this. He was shown in Arkham, but he won't be the next villain. It was just a cameo, because Reeves wanted every villain from the 66 movie present in his.

Why do you want to hate this so badly?

> takes C4 face-first
> throws it across the fucking room
> we don't see how close he is to the explosion or whether or not he covered his face or lept away which he most likely did because he was a fucking British spy

>Superhero fiction
>Grounded and realistic
