The movie’s entire plot and series of events was based on Holland Peter and Strange being extremely stupid and causing all of the problems.
Up until Tobey and Andrew arrive, the movie is honestly really bad and based on the “heroes” ruining everything by being insanely stupid.

That's why the multiverse was going to break apart. It wasn't just there were going to be enough villains and people appearing in the MCU that they'd eventually form a blackhole.
The FOX Venom didn't, but several Venoms did/have known that. It was the distant strands being pulled in that was the exponential problem. So all the Venoms through all the mutliverse were going to get pulled in.

Literally the entire plot of the fucking movie could have been avoided if Peter and Strange just had a basic conversation about the parameters of the spell before doing casting it, instead both of these smart characters decide not to do that and end up fucking up the entire world.
