pussy n bussy

I’m surprised how bright and lively everything looks while still looking like Shrek, which wasn’t really a very bright and lively franchise, being from an era where the goal of cg was to chase after more photorealism.
There’s straight up animation smears now!

>The Leche whisper

That sounds like a name for a gay porn artist.

Damn that animation style is pretty neat

>spinoff for a movie that came out 18 years ago
>last Puss movie was 11 years ago
did anyone ask for this

Is everyone gonna copy Spider-verse style now? Its even found in video games now.

I'm glad Dreamworks never gave up on the painterly CG style that Disney was trying to do for Tangled ages up but figured the vinyl look was easier.

This looks really cool. I also love Puss in Boots so this should be fun. I hope Shrek makes some kind of appearance.

The people who worked on the movie did; it’s even the exact same “what if puss was on his last life of 9” plot they’ve been pitching for the past 11 years.
Now that Dreamworks is on the upswing they can afford to do passion projects again.
Especially when those passions fall into an established franchise, that’s a fun bonus

The art style and animation looks great

This is so SHIT! looks nothing like the original.

I don’t even care for the Puss in Boots movies but this genuinely looks like a fun movie with a cool unique story

Damn, that actually looks kind of fun.

tfw Dreamworks next two movies look better than Pixar's last two films.

The first one was bland minus a few good laughs, but this one honestly looks better. As tiring as sequels/reboots/spin-offs are, Puss deserves a good movie.

Why are they using the spiderverse animation for this??

Looks fun but the spiderverse influence is so obvious

Looks better than it has any right to be

Im sure the story will suck like any Dreamworks film but that animation is killer

What's with the framerate drops

>Animated movies having more expressive art and animation will now only ever be known as 'Spiderverse influenced' and thus be called derivative
It looks great, that's all that matters

>We want the Spider-Verse and Mitchells audience
But it looks pretty fuckin cool anyways

Blegh, what's wrong with the art style? Why should sony be the only lot allowed to experiment here, doesn't mainstream animation deserve some variety?

Who cares if it looks like Spider-Verse, it's something fresh! Isn't that a good trend to follow?

Why are you talking like if we were saying its something bad?

Indeed! Fuck all of you with your negativity. Lol I know you're all miserable with a good reason but this animation trend could really become something great.

Because Any Forums never likes anything new
