Now that the dust has settled...Who was the better villain?

Varian had more interesting motives and turn to villain arc, Cassandra was just mad she didn't get the Rapussy

Varian, but only because he wasn't a bigger villains bitch.

>Who is the best villain: Varian
>Who looks better as a villain: Cassandra
I wonder if they made her so hot deliberately

She makes no sense as a villain but she looks awesome

Varian should have stayed a villain

Varian was arguably the most competent villain in the series, and only lost because Rapunzel figured out the rocks. Cass was getting manipulated by a literal floating fairy child and spent a whole season agonizing over her destiny, a destiny which still no one can figure out. user, as much as I love Cass, this isn’t a question.

Varian was underutilized after a very strong 1st season.

Varian is the better villain, but Cass was more fun to talk about.

Varian, probably. Cassandra was a terrible villain because the writers had no idea what to do with her.

I miss this series.

Why'd she go evil? Only watched the first season and won't be watching any more.

Eugene a.k.a. Ryder Flynn

Varian should have been the big bad althoughout the series.

Varien. Cassandra being angry at Rapunzel didn't feel like enough reason to turn. I think maybe they could have done it better if instead of being angry at Rapunzel, have the demon girl make her swear vengeance on the king. Then they could say the king "stole" the sun drop, and without it, her mother would die or something. Maybe add a secret motive for the captain of the guard adopting her as bait and that would explain why so many people in the castled treated her bad. But in the end her mother never showed up and the captain started growing feelings for her later on actually thinking of her as a daughter. But then again if she was known to be untrustworthy then why would she have been the princess' lady in waiting so that has it's own group of plot holes.

S3 Cass was terribly mishandled.

I miss them so much

why not

The turn makes more sense if you believed that Cassandra thinks Eugene turned Rapunzel against Gothel and that Cassandra thinks Rapunzel is too naive to realize it. This is why she says that Gothel got pushed out the window. She thinks Eugene made up the whole story by taking advantage of Rapunzel and has been milking it ever since.
