user, this isn’t the 2010’s anymore. D+ is where Disney’s putting it’s eggs

It did have limited AMC release

Encanto took off on D+ after a mediocre theatre release. It's like people don't understand that theatres are dying

And they guy that built that platform is now gonna be part of the new Warner Bros/Discovery Team.

You should know that corpos change jobs at companies like they change clothes. Businesses aren't far removed from sports teams in that they try to poach the best talent from their opponents all the time. Disney manages to hold on tight to most people because their reach is so fucking far and if they blackball you, you're fucked

OP you are clinically retarded

Cope. Streaming works.

A very large chunk of that is purely marketing.
The amount of cash floating around in advertising is completely mental

Nothing will be funnier to me than retards thinking disney is somehow a "leftist" corporation

Disney+ has half the subscribers of Netflix and puts out less new releases than them. They'll survive.

No shit the main character is basically a self insert for their artsy personas.

Also gotta punish Disney for their support of that Anti-Grooming Bill even if they recuse themselves now.

So how will this movie make money?

>Look at all these awards we won!
>Just ignore how bad the movie actually is!

No corporation is left wing or right wing. They're all money wing. All they care about it profit. If that means they think they have to support a left wing ideology to make money, they will. If they think they have to support a right wing ideology to make money, they will. They're corporatists, all that matters is profit.

Currently they are pushing left wing ideology because that's what they think will make them money. No, it doesn't actually make them left wing, but to the average person, they will appear to be left wing, because that's what they're pushing. If you don't think that's what they're pushing then you're either blind or lying.

Also, there are rumors that very wealthy people like Fink are incentivising these companies to push lefty ideology, giving them money so they don't have to worry about losses from lack of sales / low popularity. Not saying that's true, but it's a rumor that exists.
