Why does Hollywood insist on forcing gritty realistic Batman on us? The Arkham games, Brave and Bold cartoon, and the Burton movies were incredibly popular.

I could take gritty realistic Batman if he wasn’t a restart who needs Penguin to solve riddles and a bitch who gets beat up by Any Forums.

There is nothing cool about this Batman.

Netflix Daredevil was more badass.

The Nolan movies were also incredibly popular and Hollywood is just sticking with what naturally comes easier to them.

>gritty realistic
>constantly tanks gun shots like they are nothing
>no one ever aims for the head or hits a weak spot by luck
oh yeah it was super realistic

>The Arkham games
Were videogames, an entirely different medium from movies that can get away with providing character writing through therapy audio tapes because they have tens of hours of content to explore and prioritise action setpieces over purely plot
>Brave and Bold cartoon
A cartoon for young children, not a live action movie for an entirely different demographic. Not nearly succesful enough to warrant adaptation, either
>the Burton movies
Not nearly as succesful as the Nolan films, 2 of which broke a billion, Returns bombed at the box office

I’m sick of it.

Because The Dark Knight films was big. Next. Next question please.

>Arkham Games
How in the flying fuck is the Arkham universe "realistic", you moron?
>Undead zombie
>A scientist that's half bat
>Another scientist with freezing weapons
>Super steroids and an offshoot that makes you a monster
>Resurrecting chemical
>Mind control

Learn to read he was using Arkham games as an example as not grounded in reality.

>The Arkham games
Kino
> Brave and Bold cartoon
Cringe

what do you expect from a super hero who has no powers and relies on gadgets and money to do anything? Sound pretty grounded in reality to me.

The batman was fucking cheesy.
As he points out, it was an episode of the brave and bold only with contemporary batman esthetics. The movie was great cause it nailed the two together

I expect him to get shot and almost bleed out at least once.

>A billionaire who dresses as a giant Bat and flies around the city chasing clowns is grounded

Kill yourself and go back. In that order

He didn't need Penguin to solve the riddle.
Alfred told him the spanish was bad and he remembered it. He just didn't see a need to look into it until Penguin brought it up again.
He beat the shit out of Any Forums. There was about twenty guys there with guns and he beat every single one.
Rewatch the film pleb.

Fucking hell, give it a rest

unironically grow up.

>WAAAAAAHHHH STOP INSULTING MY BOSS’S COMPANY MOVIE

Dobson, is that you?

This insistence of grounded realistic Batman means we will never get accurate portrayals of fantastical Batman villains and stories.

T. don't read Batman comics

>wtf why is a character with no superpowers who's characterization is he's mentally traumatized from seeing his parents brains blown out by a mugger in front of him as a child so he dedicates his life to waging physiological warfare on all criminals and his enemies are all homicidal psychopaths always get gritty and realistic treatments?!??!?!

even The Arkham games and Burton movies were pretty fucking dark in tone even if they had fantasy and camp elements, only time Batman is le fun and wacky like retards on here seem to want for some reason is in material aimed at literal children like some of the cartoons or outright parodies in animated movies

You clearly have never read the comics
Batman is still superhero fiction and can stumble upon supernatural occurrences or villains with superpowers or who use sci fi tech

IK, fucjtard, explain Solomon Grundy, Mr Freeze with sci fi tech and a Ras AL Ghul that use the Lazarus Pit and why they will never show up in a Matt Revees movie then?
