>Superman fucks up and Zod destroys Metropolis >Batman fucks up and the Riddler floods Gotham >Wonder Woman fucks up and the Germans gas the village >The entire Justice League fucks up and Darkseid rapes the universe
>The Marvel heroes fucked up and Thanos killed half the universe. >Spider-Man fucked up, his loved ones were harassed, his aunt died, and he lost everything. >Iron Man fucked up and a mad robot destroyed a country, killed Scarlet Witch's brother. >Scarlet Witch fucked up and now the entire multiverse will be in danger because of her
Why do MCU heroes fuck up so much?
Mason Martin
None of that happened in their very first movies, though.
Hunter Fisher
>Zod How exactly was Superman supposed to stop him faster? And Metropolis is a huge-ass city, we learn only 1/6th of it was actually destroyed in BvS. Zod being destructive isn’t Superman’s fault >Batman Nobody expected Riddler to have anything else planned after he killed his final target. By all everyone else knew, he was a serial killer, not a terrorist. >Wonder Woman Haven’t seen WW >Justice League Luthor was the one who gives Darkseid the ALE in the Snyderverse, and Lois dying is the only thing that made Superman vulnerable enough to be taken control of. All you’re complaining about is that Superheroes aren’t effortlessly stopping any and all conflict. No shit Sherlock, if there’s no conflict, there’s no story.
You’re ignoring the point, which is, “MCU heroes are involved in plenty of destruction of their own.” Going, “but that didn’t happen their first time” doesn’t change anything.
>How exactly was Superman supposed to stop him faster?
Not the guy you're talking to but Supes not taking the fight from the rural area around Kent farm right to Metropolis where he rams Zod right through a gas station blowing it up and killing everyone... that would have been a good first step.
I am a DC fan by the way and bored/disinterested with most of Marvel but man am I pissed at how Snyder treated those characters.
Adam Kelly
Because Peacemaker wasn’t there.
Ryan Bennett
Zach Snyder.
Logan Watson
>2 of these are not the same
Brayden Kelly
what's another phrase for super speed? like, say there's a universe where everybody has a superpower but two people have different forms of super speed
one person's speed is called "super speed" and it works how you would expect it to the other person's speed is called... ???
Jordan Lee
Supes doesn’t take the fight to metropolis. Zod dropped a world engine there and across the globe.
The majority of destruction was the army’s failure to stop the machine and having to solely rely on a Superman weakened by gravity and atmosphere on the other side of the world
Parker Hughes
In most cases it’s just a lame attempt to be shocking and “dark”
Charles Taylor
That was Stranger's fault
Cameron Price
He meant to say Smallville, Clark literally drags Zod through the center of Smallville.
Cooper Nguyen
So basically heroes fucked up and Alan Moore was right
Gavin Evans
>Superman fucks up and Zod destroys Metropolis He fought off an alien invasion on his first day being a superhero and had to take care of the world engine on the other side of the planet because he was able to get there in minutes.
Oh fair point but in his defense the dude tried to straight up kill his mom so he just dragged him as far from her as he could. Plus a city fight would look better than them fighting in a cornfield.
Carter Richardson
superman isn't real. why are you getting so worked up about this?
Ian Bell
Ah, more mousecuck seething and fear. Ya love to see it.
>Plus a city fight would look better than them fighting in a cornfield.
That's my main problem with it. It puts spectacle over who Clark is as a character. Plus yeah, his mom was being threatened by several other super powered Kryptonians who could kill her in an instant if they wanted. He takes their leader and flies away. The only reason they don't vaporize Martha on the spot out of spite is just bad writing.
