I'm curious, lions live in groups, would this cub be taken care of by the pride or is it doomed to die from starvation? I mean it's probably doomed anyway since it can't flee anything and infection and shit, but ignoring those factors

It would be abandoned (like what is shown in the video: the Lioness is avoiding the cub) or killed (by the mother or another lion.) This is common behaviour in most animals: kill the weak to feed the strong.
