yes
>As a kid have nothing but the Burton/Schumacker movies
>Think Batman is lame because of this
>In middle school when Batman Begins comes out
>Watch it and its absolute kino
>Batman turns in to one of my favorite characters of all time
>Now have an autistic level of knowledge of him
>Never would have cared about him if they kept the wham, bang, pow level Adam West shit.
I guarantee there's other kids out there right now who have grew up on nothing but MCU quips and they're going to see The Batman and cum in their pants, changing their tastes forever too. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and tastes but people like Movie Bob just come off as toddlers.
>Adam West shit
the schumacker movies were like west stuff without the charm.
As you wish user
Let's go over some of his retarded opinions:
>Terminator should be about a black woman putting a stop to a roided up jock who went back in time and change the past, so women will be more attracted to him than big brained scientists, and he hopes to accomplish this by recruiting Dale Gribble types to destroy science in the past.
>Actually believed BotW Link was going to be a woman
>Thinks the Ninja Turtles getting mutated intentionally rather than by accident equals destiny writing (btw, he considers destiny an inherently bad trope unless it's some kind of subversion).
>The Rise of Skywalker is "fine".
>Shezow (the show that is clearly just using drag for a joke) is a step towards trans acceptance.
>Acknowledges that JJ Abrams can't write an actual story and relies on the mystery box which ultimately always leads nowhere, yet still praised The Force Awakens.
>Thinks Robin isn't a forced element of the Batman mythos simply because of how early on Robin was introduced, even though simply being added in early does not automatically mean an element wasn't forced and plenty of Batman stories since have ignored Robin regardless.
>Thinks Bane is a shitty character in the comics and that the Nolan version is in-name-only, even though he's not altered more than Nolan's versions of Ra's or Joker.
>Believed South Park's depiction of Steven Seagal was a mockery of him.
>Quite literally declared the Trump administration a "white supremacy government" the day Trump was elected.
>Thinks the guy who literally could not get past the Cuphead tutorial shouldn't be criticized because "Nobody is good at a game the first time they play it".
>Thinks the 80's Transformers movie is genuinely good, even though it only makes sense if you watch episodes of the show that came out afterwards, and even then it's still confusing.
>Thinks the way to introduce Spider-Man to the MCU would be to retcon the Raimi movies as MCU movies, then almost immediately replace Peter with Miles.
I wonder what Moviebob thought of the Eternals?
I can continue here:
>Thinks Adam West Batman is great and not just for meme value.
>Thinks the MCU Fantastic Four should be nothing but ripping into 60's conservatism.
>Acknowledges that the retarded story he wrote for the Game Overthinker was retarded because he had no plan, then went on to defend the Disney Star Wars movies on the premise that having a plan is a bad thing.
>Gamer Gate happened because people were afraid Hillary might become president.
>The Wizard is as "iconic" as the JFK assassination or the 9/11 attacks.
>Metroid Other M's writing is good because Samus had no character before.
>Call of Duty is only popular because people like to "take revenge on brown people".
>First person perspective in video games is inherently worse than third person.
>Magneto, the mass murdering terrorist, is correct.
Basically he's the zoomer's version of a boomer.
>Magneto, the mass murdering terrorist, is correct.
about Half the X-fandom thinks that is the case and not a solely Moivebob bad take.
My favorite bad opinion of his that no one ever talks about is how he thinks Joker had no reason to be set in 80s. Joker, a film that bangs on about the lack of mental health resources available to underprivileged people, has no reason to be set in the era where one of the first things the new President did was to absolutely gut what little resources there were. Joker is not a particularly deep or subtle film and yet Moviebob seemed to go out of his way to not get it in some kind of weird attempt to own the chuds.
Here are the basics of his review:
>The Eternals comics are unpopular and un-noteworthy outside of what later writers did with it's ideas.
>The decision to greenlight the movie was a good idea and fuck DC for not doing the same with the New Gods.
>The movie is an 8/10 and fuck Rotten Tomatoes for boiling it down to a negative.
>Something about the internet having pointless Dune vs Eternals discussions (I have no idea where he found that).
>Blablablabla (He's honestly pretty vague throughout most of it) making ancient aliens concept less racist blablabla big ideas but questionable payoff blablabla it's good that kids might get into the Eternals (which again, is a comic he implied that he didn't even like in the first place.
Here's the review if you don't mind actually giving him a view.
