I’ve been conditioned by Power Rangers to assume red is the leader. So I thought Clover was the leader, or at least the MAIN main character.

I think what it comes down to is that Clover is the main character, but we’re playing more like by sitcom rules where she’s the most extra/wacky/entertaining one, not Power Ranger rules where she’s the most competent one.
