How the fuck did they manage to dial up the kino back to DD S1 levels?

Because S1 was shit as well.

Season 2 couldn't decide if it wanted to be a Punisher or a Hand season and weirdly decided to do both. Season 3 scaled back and got back to the basics of Daredevil vs Kingpin which is what a large draw of the first season was.

Cuz it had no Elektra bullshit aka worst thing in the show.

>more narratively focused than S2
>every episode develops the story in a meaningful way
>all of the heroes are likeable and sympathetic
>Kingpin is a genuinely terrifying villain who presents a serious, legitimate threat
The only problem I had with the season was the reveal that the nun was Matt's mother the whole time. Nothing up until that point even slightly hinted that she was alive, and it feels like a cheap cliffhanger to end the episode on.

>crying girl gets arrested
>thinks she killed her co-worker
>start quipping in front of her non-stop
Maybe season 1 wasn't as kino as you remember and the MCU formula is easy to write for

>The only problem I had with the season was the reveal that the nun was Matt's mother the whole time. Nothing up until that point even slightly hinted that she was alive, and it feels like a cheap cliffhanger to end the episode on.
It was a reference to Matt's backstory in Born Again

>crying girl gets arrested
>thinks she killed her co-worker
>start quipping in front of her non-stop
Didn't Karen say she actually liked Foggy being casual and jokey with her because it actually made her feel like a normal person again?

Most of the Netflixfags have never read DD unfortunately
it's called easing the tension and it mostly works. You don't need to post this stupid shit in every Netflix DD thread

ok mousecucks

I think the most impressive thing about season three is that managed to make good use of its 13 episode count without feeling like it was dragging, that was the biggest problem with the Marvel Netflix shows because most of them felt like they were meant to be just 8-10 episode series that got extended with an extra three and that tended to hurt the plot.

>tfw we'll never get a good Bullseye fight again, especially now that he's under Disney

Yes, after hours of processing by cops. DKeks can't comprehend human interaction.

It was always under Disney

Imagine being so assblasted about the very concept of levity that even an attempt at defusing tension in the most serious installment in the entire franchise still causes your anal glands to burst into flame.

Not directly, which is why the Netflix shows could actually be violent.

Because Disney did light-hearted movies and serious tv shows and Warner Brothers did serious movies and light-hearted tv shows

The ending never made much sense. They manage to get Nadeem to testify in front of a jury and it fails because Fisk threatens them, but somehow a video recording that is purportedly Nadeem's dying declaration is somehow enough to arrest Fisk and all the corrupt FBI agents.
If they were going to go down the legal route, at least have them get more evidence, like with Mariah's gun in Luke Cage.

just turn your brain off bro

All Im saying is its weird he's fast enough to literally dodge bullets, but still regularly gets punched in the head by normal people

Explain that you havent watched Hit Monkey without outright saying you didnt watch Hit Monkey

I think they got a mountain of it during the arrest process. The declaration was enough to take the accusation seriously at the highest level and they were directed to where to go to find hard evidence

Yeah as good as the 4 or 5 good fight scenes were there was a lot of filler bullshit fight scenes that made you roll your eyes. This show was 40+ hours with a small fraction of it being quality
