It was made by some bitch that worked in those shitty nu mickey mouse shorts and a writer from TTG, what did you fucking expect? They're a bunch of fucking hacks that don't give an actual fuck!

FPBP really, it's the kind of thing that would work well on TV or a streaming service where it could reach its audience, but sadly on the internet you have to pander to specific autistic and other mentally ill circles in order to get any traction on any creative endeavor or you can give up on ever going big.

There's just too much shit on the internet and normalfags will never go out of their way to look for something niche like "cowboy sheriff cartoon" and expect to find something worthwhile in the constant deluge of shit you have to compete with, whereas the autism of the mentioned very vocal minorities is the only thing that will get you spread around the internet enough to reach any sort of actually normal audience, same reason why pic related went big.

>COWBOYS
>TOO WHITE
of course it flops

I mean cowboys were extremely ethically diverse.

>cowboys were extremely ethically diverse.
Of course, not every cowboy was as evil as Jesse James, some were just regular farm hands with good Christian morals and values

She’s also going to be involved in Genndy’s upcoming show for CN.

um achutally the original cowboys were of Latinx descent...

this show seems perfect for disney
>episodic
>funny
>toys

won't call it a failure but the creators can't continue because they need to focus on the new work they got

>western
>succeeding with anyone but boomers

I liked its middle of nowhere background more than Kid Cosmic's and I don't usually like those settings

It's not funny and it's trying to be a comedy. It's way too long for an animated pilot. Amateurish writing, bad pacing, inconsistent quality flash animation, and flat staging everywhere which doesn't make it feel very dynamic for an action show. It's great for internet effort but it underperforms for TV show quality.

Also, you don't need to do a proof of concept this finished (with toys and merchandise) just to sell it to a network. If your idea and characters don't hold up then that's where you need to work on things. Most networks want to be able to have input, better not to waste tons of time/money by jumping the gun before you sell it. It also scares people away when you've already decided everything, makes it look like you don't want to compromise any changes.

And it probably wasn't ever going to be a viral smash like Hazbin Hotel

People don't like good animation and Westerns are considered "old-timey"

>horror more popular than ever
>still only 1-2 genuinely scary movies come out each decade

>war, musical, and western all declined

This makes me sad, these all can be such fun, patriotic genres.
