Initially get the reception that this is parodybait, and it has lisa being a jerkass in the first act

>initially get the reception that this is parodybait, and it has lisa being a jerkass in the first act
>stop watching it after the end thinking this is going to be OUR MARRIAGE IS ON THE ROCKS

>actually watch the episode in a whole once I do
>it's actually good
What the fuck bros? And a tear actually came out of my eye, for once.

Good compared to what exactly?
The korean flash animation they use still makes me nauseous.

>Good compared to what exactly?
This year Bob's burgers valentine episode.

Every single other Valentines episode that aired on FOX yesterday. North, Bob's, and Guy's 2022 Valentines all sucked and deserve a 4. Though I'll give props to Guy's for not being so randumb and mean spirited compared to previous seasons.

Yeah, they usually manage to put out one or two genuinely decent episodes a season, but this was up there with Halloween of Horror.

If you keep swinging you're bound to hit a home run sooner or later. Every once in a while modern Simpsons has an episode that's actually decent/pretty good.

>the credits scene where they just eat chips and watch the sunset before they go into the ranger station
I haven't had feels like this since the first episode with Mona. Holy hell

Zoomer Simpsons sometimes hits a ball in the park, especially when Matt Selman is at the sole forerunnership.

I wasn't expecting the Penn Hills Resort references.

Julie Kavner's voice is fried

Seasons 7-15 or so were literally randumb and mean spirited, no one can deny this. Seasons 7-15 are total trash.

A zombie can perform some interesting tricks now and then, it can even make you laugh. But it's still dead.

Episode was too good
>John Frink and Carolyn Omine were behind it
what the fuck

>>initially get the reception that this is parodybait
Why do you keep making the same thread regurgitating what the talkback thread opinions were like you had them but it was "actually" good? We know you liked it, just say you did and move on you freak.

I only said this once you freak. Not counting the Putin spam from last night which wasn't me

Livin' the dream.

Why do you keep shilling this episode, are you obsessed with it or something.

I didn't even really comprehend I was watching that episode. It was so mediocre as to act as a wormhole that simply sucked me in and spat me out the other end, without even one memorable moment.

I've never really enjoyed the Valentines episodes apart from Bob Actually. Bob's most interesting relationships are with his kids, unless he and Linda get wasted or in danger like the camping ep / loft party one.
