Final Any Forums verdict on Star Wars: The Bad Batch?
Final Any Forums verdict on Star Wars: The Bad Batch?
It's like the Book of Boba Fett except without any of the unexpected fan-service characters, besides maybe Rex and Bane.
So what I'm saying is it's a boring waste of time that adds nothing of value to the Star Wars canon.
I think this is the first thread I've seen for this show since the shitposting that came with.. a female Jango Fett clone? Or something dumb like that.
So take that silence as you will. It's either painfully average or bad in a dull way.
I think they wrote a nice way why Clones don't appear in the OT anymore but yeah. This should have been an animated film instead of a series with tons of really mediocre filler.
>besides maybe Rex and Bane.
They also had two characters from Rebels don't ask me what they are called again. I'm restarting the show soon after watching Yolo a Star Wars Story. They also had that bounty hunter chick from Mando and Boba Fett
As an arc of Clone Wars, it was good.
As a stand-alone series, it was incomplete.
Omega, while highly fuckable, was incredibly annoying, and the rest were just boring TF2 characters by another name.
Expected Post-Vietnam in Space.
Got more WW2 in Space.
Generic main characters
Good setup, but the same plot of "We got a job, Omega wants to help, Omega fucks up, gotta save Omega" murdered its potential.
S-Tier premise wasted on Rebels Tier scripts.
Friends tried to make me watch the first episode, lost interest within a few minutes. Apparently the main characters were all from some other show I should have watched beforehand and that's why they were hyped, but I said fuck that. If this show was any good, it'd be interesting on its own merits and not because it's a spinoff of something else I'll never see.
It's okay. Not much happens.
SW is getting into a bad habit where it’s catering to the super fans that consume everything and aren’t making stories that stand on their own merits. A general audience may be interested in watching a single interesting looking show in the SW universe, but they won’t be interested in having the homework of an entire other series or parts of a series.
THE BAD BATCH?
more like..
THE MID BATCH
AHAHAHAHAHAH
enjoyable.
That's exactly how it feels. I put up with it in Mandalorian season 2, but seeing my friends shit their pants with the blue bounty hunter in Boba Fett and not knowing what the big deal was really cemented that feeling of having things thrown into my face that I never asked for.
It's alright. I liked the lower stakes, Wrecker and Omega is probably the best kid character SW - the toy-selling franchise - has going for it.
It’s shit, why?
>mediocre plot
>unlikable and one note characters
>excessive filler
>”expansion” of lore that no one asked for
It’s honestly more proof of why Dave Filoni isn’t actually a genius but rather a fanboy who needs to be kept on a tight leash by Lucas.
It’s so egregious because their entire rivalry is predicated on an episode of Clone Wars that was never finished and is only known by a clip shown at Star Wars Celebration 2017. That’s the level of fandom wank they’re at now.
bad batch more like batchest
