Did the writer just get bored? Was the change from one art style to another intentional and meant to represent the new, edgier tone? I hated the direction this went in after the first book as much as I loved the first book.
The original artists take too long so they had to get worse faster ones. And they are still slow. Not to mention shilling other comics for months at a time so the main story can come out.

I legit enjoyed the humor. There are I don't know how many examples of edge cape stories and relationship drama stories, but good, funny cape stuff that is actually funny is more rare. Losing that for another middling edge and drama comic wasn't worth it.
