I know Affleck doesn't want to do it anymore, but can we just have a normal black-and-grey Batman on the Justice League who is a contemporary of his fellow Justice Leaguers, like in the fucking comics? Can't they just do a normal cinematic universe that gives people the characters they expect and want in adventures that are enjoyable? Even something as bland and predictable as the MCU would be preferable to WB constantly doing retarded things with their characters and wondering why it's not working, thinking "oh I guess Superman isn't marketable and people want a 70-year-old Batman." I'm not asking for much here.

It was a fucking stupid decision since it put Superman on the sidelines in his second fucking movie and took him out of the game until past the midway point of Justice League, when Snyder had already failed to endear him to audiences. Death of Superman has no fucking meaning when you rush straight into it to fulfill your fetish for Excalibur and audiences already know it'll be undone in the next movie. The same for forcing in Dark Knight Returns wank in a universe where the characters have literally no history together to give any of it meaning.
