DC Mech
I bet you $5000 it's a surface-level cash-in written by some retard that understands nothing of mechashit.
>DC Mech draws inspiration from a number of Japanese mecha classics like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Robotech. The series is set in an alternate version of the DCU where humanity has built a fleet of giant robots in response to a WWII-era alien incursion from Apokolips. They know it's only a matter of time before Darkseid returns with a full invasion force, and with Superman's advanced Kryptonian mech leading the charge, they're ready to finish the fight.
>"DC Mech is inspired by my deep love of the DC Universe and the mecha genre," Porter tells IGN. "I grew up reading DC Comics and watching any anime that I could get my hands on that featured giant robots. I’ve been a fan of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise since middle school, and I wanted to create a world with Baldemar that completely restructured the world around augmented pilots instead of superheroes."
>dinosaurs
>mechs
Keep 'em coming DC.
The actual mech design isn't visually very interesting, but at least they seem to get if Batman were gonna have a mech it would just be picrel.
The robot has a cape
Love it when this happens.
of the two here Batman has the Better Mech(also Mech +plus Capes/cloaks works really well)
Superman just kinda looks really weird. (Clark has a dumb grin on his face in the concept art)
>it's Darkseid
>again
Come on now.
Surprisingly has been done before.
these look good but this look is more Gundam/BattleTech
compare to the big O/EVA look there doing here
Is this more like tech romancer or cyberbots?
Up next Justice League Isekai...I was in the Justice League, but now I've been reincarnated in another world!
Speaking of which, any good mech comics out there?
It's just copying Marvel's Mech book.
>I sure hope the Martian Manhunter remembered to delete all my porn!
I'll go double and bet ita going to be Geoff or King.
There's nothing to understand, animepedos. The genesis of the genre was smashing giant robots against each other. It didn't start with Gundam or Eva. This comic's probably a toyline promotion like this one and hopefully it's at least fun. Relegating Darkseid to jobbing again isn't the best but fuck it
> DC Mech is a six-issue series from writer Kenny Porter (Superman: Man of Tomorrow) and artist Baldemar Rivas (Unearth).
Superman isekai farming book when?
Do wonder what the JSA is going to look like. Like yeah their going to job out but still fun see them in things and think some will live
most likely Jay flash and probably Wonder woman (noticing she doesn't have one)
What the fuck happened to the Marvel one of these? They were getting ready to confront Kang after he ripped off that scene where Doom killed Thanos in Secret Wars, then it just didn't have any more issues.
I actually really like that Superman mech a lot. But what's up with Superman's face? He looks like a smug delinquent.
Batman's design definitely evokes more modern mecha while Superman's has a more classic look.
