I definitely wish it had more of the combat/bosses from the games which may come up in later seasons, but its honestly not too bad for a kids show.

The aesthetics were nice, but things were dumb ed down so badly it was hard to enjoy. I get that marketing wanted it to appealing to kids, but less than a decade ago shows could still look wacky and be clever.

This would have been an easy choice if the narrative twist from the last minutes had been the main premise. As it stands it takes too long to subvert its clichéd premise.

I have never played the game and I barely know anything about the character, and so far I'm having fun with the show.

I liked the King Dice episode and the Devil two parter.
I think everyone can agree that the worst episode was the babysitting one.
I didn't have large expectations for the show since I didn't fully beat the game. I also wished they used more of the bosses, but maybe that'll occur in the later seasons. I hope King Dice and Miss Chalice appear more in later episodes. I'm fine with it not being a straight adaption of the game. Still one of the better video game cartoons/anime I saw, but not my personal favorite (that would go to Bomberman Jetters and Kirby: Right Back at Ya!).
