Because Wander is one of the, if not the most, ugly looking protagonist ever conceived in a children's cartoon, combined with his extremely irritating personality. The only reason to watch the show is for Hater and kids don't like villains.

I think it's partly because of Craig McCracken's overall tone can be all over the place. I've seen in in Dexter's Lab and The Powerpuff Girls. Sometimes silly and fun and other times kinda overly dark.

No OP but we knew that since September, it was cancelled because kids and teenagers didn’t like it and didn't connect with Wander as mc
