I kinda wish the dialogue was more natural here and reflected Mike's character better. I feel like initially he did want to kiss her as thanks for everything she's done, because he is a nice guy and would do that. But then it led to him thinking about why he let all other opportunities slip past him because of Sandy. Like it feels like he didn't even listen to what Daisy was saying which doesn't feel like Mike at all.
