Molly setting up things so that scratch can scare other kids since their friendship is tight and the fear of separation drives her a bit nuts.
Change the origin with Molly already being friends with Scratch because he is the only one who can follow her around the country.
She does very suspicious shit to make them think she is hiding something (sometimes on purpose as a trap) and when they investigate they get btfo by scratch.
Libby and Andrea would be trying to expose molly while keeping the same character and messing with each other in scary situations and eventually add on a boy because why not but no shipping allowed.
They believe that Molly knows what is happening to the town and think she is either causing it to happen with dark magic or knows the source of the dark magic.
This changes later as they see glimpses of her talking to scratch but aren't sure if he was a ghost.
