It's a show from my childhood that is dark as fuck. It has blatant blood, death and even torture. One of the character was almost driven to suicide Hell, it even got banned temporarily due to the bloody nature of a particular scene.
Nevertheless it's called Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit: Legend of the Seven Swords (虹猫蓝兔七侠传) and it's very popular back in china.
If you're interested there's an **awful** english dub. Though dialogues are close enough and without much censorship compared to it’s counterpart in mandarin. In addition, the songs are not translated so just skip past those if you wish.

I had an episode translated along with a bunch of scenes but when YouTube did the thing last year with private videos uploaded before 2017, I got lazy and deleted them instead of fixing them. But Any Forums only had one chance of ever caring about this show back when we had those 500+ post threads but Chinese animation was exiled from Any Forums and nobody in /trash/ cared, so that was the end of it all.

But oof that's unfortunate. At least we're now able to try again more than 6 years later in 2022. This show deserves so much more recognition in the west than it gets here

It's really hit-or-miss. Some threads about Chinese stuff get removed and others don't. Technically, Any Forums is still for "western animation" and Any Forums is for Japanese animation. But that makes a lost of asian cartoons from China or South Korea in limbo.

The show? 108 episodes each ~15 minutes long when taking the intro and outro into account but the English dub I mentioned above skips all of that. So perhaps 13 minutes each?

She died but was resurrected in an unrelated spin-off show. I think she eventually died again but I can't remember. This franchise has literally dozens of spin-off shows. The most recent one was rejected by fans though and I think the franchise died after it bombed.

Since Sally’s dominant hand got damaged and is unable to wield her sword, they kept the fake swordsmen, Ma Sanniang, around for the 7 sword union. During which, she continued being an undercover agent (with her own agenda) for the demon cult. After the defeat of heixinhu (with the 7 sword union) she finally betrayed the group and attempted to get qilin’s (chinese unicorn) blood for herself.
Luckily Sally stepped in, now proficient in using her left hand, and finally killed her.
