sure
Will it help pave the way for a new generation of animators like 80s show did?
Check the date of the article idiot.
Literally only remembered for Andy Kaufman on SNL.
Apparently not, since this article was written a second update on it was made 9 years later in 2019 that it was being written as a live action/CG hybrid movie (like the new Tom & Jerry/Chip & Dale movies I’d imagine), although the original project was in development for a few years prior to the 2010 article and it’s been almost 3 years since the 2019 article and there’s been no updates since so I wouldn’t count on it ever happening in any form.
Also needless to mention it’s been passed on to different writers since then. Jon & Erich Hoeber who wrote a bunch of shitty movies like Battleship and The Meg.
If the 80s show didn’t properly revive it nothing will
I'm still mad Genndy's Popeye never went sailing
many such cases
I actually really liked Mighty Mouse when I was a young kid. Would love to see how they bring him back.

Concept art was made for this film. Apperantley it's being reworked into a live action CGI hybrid movie but no word if any progress was made at the time of this writing
