Hotel Transylvania

Did getting married ruin the potential for Mavis or was it a good story?

Her getting married to that failed was the worst mistake that ever happen.

He's not as bad as you seem to make him out to be. He's kind of an idiot but it's not like mnuchin off his wife deliberately. He did deliberately take a job in the hotel even if his father-in-law made It Up Just 4 Him.

Dracula had every right to be upset that that stoner kid will inherit his hotel and influence his family.

Won't he be long dead before even his first son is mature and of legal age?

And who fucking cares, Mavis needed to get knocked up, and every subsequent time is a plus.

>Won't he be long dead before even his first son is mature and of legal age?
that's what i was thinking

While the kids talking and moving around before he died of old age so apparently the vampires age more normally in the young 4 years or being half-human is making the kid age faster but nobody commented on that.

Why not just kill him?

Mavis's pregnancy years

It is crazy that they haven't turned him into a vampire. Especially in 4 it would have made sense

Do we know how vampirism works in these movies? It's been a while since I last saw them and I don't remember if vampirism was transferable or not.

Getting married? No.

Getting married to Johnny? Yeah.

Why do people even hate Johnny? I rewatched the movies recently including the latest one and he really isn't that bad.

I feel Drac has to learn the same lesson each movie as well.

He seems like a genuinely nice person though. He's immature but Mavis does a good job of balancing him out. I don't get why people are so mad about Mavis being in love with him specifically.

They cant self insert as Johnny. Mavisfags getting ntr'ed by a cartoon character.

Ancient romanian girls are cute!

>ESL coomposter is upset

What a great movie.

Putting 90% of the focus on Drac (because hey Adam Sandler) ruined the potential. I'm not saying NO Dracula, but the first movie worked because it was a mix of sweet stuff (the daddy-daughter relationship, Mavis wanting to see the world, Johnny being a genuinely good egg) and comedy. The subsequent movies used Mavis less, and the lack of heart made them shittier movies.

Or, more simply, it turned to shit because the first movie was "here's a bunch of fun characters" and after that it became "here's Drac and his friends & family."
