Children can't act for shit
makes sense if you think about it, a kids voice can change in a short amount of time, also child labour laws and such like.
>Young girl character
>male VA
Adult men's voices are usually too deep to play a child, how is this even a thread.
Now we're talking.
lots of shows have done it and when females voice young males it sounds exactly the same,
like they're speaking while holding in their breath

One time I dated a girl who roleplayed as a boyscout in bed and I was the scoutmaster. It got weird.
I recently started watching Bob's Burgers after watching the Chris-Chan Documentary.
Tina is 100% autistic.
I can't think of any examples besides Charlie Brown and Arthur
It's not that it can't be done, it's that there aren't enough good children actors to go around and they age pretty quickly with boys being the most noticeable. Look at Sora and Steven.
that sounds hilarious
Sounds hot.
Based.
Live action should go back to doing this more as well.
See things like Steven Universe and Lion Guard where the child voice actor’s voice changes so much they ultimately just stop trying to digitally pitch shift their voices to hide it and just let their character grow up to match
Still impressed it was a dude.
Who this cutie?
