The only worth while animation I can think off is Prince Vladimir. It's traditionally animated and it looks pretty good.
Though the subtitles of the version I watched kept referring to Kievan-Rus as "Russia" because of course they would.

I remember as a child adoring Russian animated movies. I know you meant shows but hope this will do as well.The animation is wonderful and I am really mad that they are not as appreciated (and entire European animation) as they should be. The second movie (Little fox Vuk) is actually Hungarian cartoon but here it is translated in Russian. youtube.com
