Is she actually hated?

Or was that episode some kind of bait by the writers? I adore Wammawink and didn't think that was an unpopular opinion.

None of the birdtaurs(besides maybe Bayden?) had the context of Wammawink's past explaining why she's so overbearing and emotional. They just think she's an aggressive nag for no reason. Also they're stupid birdtaurs.

It's not based on actual fan opinions, just how fandoms can be. It's useful, if you want some context, that the Birdtaurs literally could not see some of the stuff Horse saw for example, so they can't understand why Wamma is the way she is and dislike her like the birdbrains they are.
