Why?

Why?

>Groening hated this crossover episode with The Critic and removed his name from the credits despite it being a good episode
>Approves of the Family Guy crossover 2 decades later despite being worse in every way
Why is he so retarded?

This scene though.

Why would he care at this point. He probably hates the Simpsons.

You answered your own question, because it's 2 decades later.

I'm pretty sure none of The Simpsons writers were involved in this and all of it was written by Family Guy's staff.

Dropped both shows after this episode and have never looked back

The fight was absolute bullshit and Homer should have slammed Peter's ass

SAME BEER

You're a retard that takes everything people say at face value and never try to learn anything else that's why.
Groening was a seething retard before the Critic crossover was made because he didn't want crossovers.
But after it aired a few months later he said he liked it and wouldn't be against the idea of more crossovers.

>dude we ripped off the simpsons but it's ok because the flintstones was about a family too
it's likely

Same beer...same show!

What did Chris even do in this special?

He got married to Lisa

Reminder that he was an accomplice of epstein

>be kid
>mom wants to visit her friend in the next state
>dont want to go
>itll be fun! she has a kid you can play with
>get dragged along
>other kid is less than half my age
>you two play nice, now!
every FUCKING time

Money.

Groening has not given a shit about The Simpsons since Futurama entered development. It's like Seth and Family Guy, they do the bare minimum to keep money rolling in/build enough rep with their boss's to make shit they actually care about.

Both shows were past their prime and they needed a ratings boost. Imagine how much more comfy this crossover would’ve been if the characters were all their beloved classic versions instead of the dry self aware douchebags they became.
>Lisa and Brian bonding over a love of classical music and reading
>Stewie endearing himself to Mr Burns by being an evil little shit with an upper class personality
>Bart and Chris pull pranks on Meg which results in her pulling a bigger prank back on them and spiraling into a prank war
>Marge and Lois bonding over having to constantly wrangle their husbands in their wacky high jinx
>Peter and Homer getting on thick as thieves until they find themselves in a scenario where one of them has to be the leader but neither one realizes the other thinks they’re the sidekick
>Super cop Joe out shining Chief Wiggum

The only difference is that Seth voices half of the characters
