I actually like what they've been doing with Beth and Jerry. They're now in a place where it's settled that they're the best for each other, but they're always gonna have little kinks to work out in their marriage (like with most couples if we're being honest). The status quo now has it that Jerry's just chillin' and fucking around with sock puppets or beekeeping or whatever new hobby he's into for the week, and there can be funny jokes about Beth getting cloned. I think making the parents more open to getting involved in Rick and Morty's adventures is an interesting direction to take, so I'm excited to see what comes next. Summer is very hit-or-miss, though.
