not really on both accounts

fucking mogolian throat singing mafia

lit sells shit books for being productive and feed the system, same with movies, and painting sells shit artworks for millions, music doesn't. Music = goat.

more than film?
I don't think so

lit sells shit books for being productive and feed the system, same with movies, and painting sells shit artworks for millions, music doesn't. Music = goat!

theres something shady about how kuvezin split from Хүн Хүpтү...

music is the best of arts, needs the most skill

Animation is the lowest form of art desu because no one can make anything good, corporations force the artist to add jokes they don’t want or cheaper trendy artstyles to appeal to kids or it’s all golden age worshippers. Music still has a lot of great talent, the problem to this day is no one bothers to explore outside of critic worshipping or 20th century music worshipping. Mainstream and popular underground has many artists that people ignore that are good. It’s all a snob and popularity contest like all forms of art sadly, would be annoying being an artist for any industry if the people themselves act holier than thou about what’s good in the art form and what’s not. Fans and corporations don’t know shit and are killing the industry.

not here, comrade

Bro, do you even /lit/

>more than any other art form
more than film, television and video games? you sure?

>Music industry doesn't push shitty music for money
explain rap then

Rap isn't music

Jajaja

>the lowest form of art
improv comedy/theater

Animation was being carried by japan, some peak kino came out back in the 80s and 90s, perfect blue, akira, angel egg.

Sadly movies like this are more rare and the market seems to have shifted to more accessible shows shit, its sad.

Some are good but they are unmatched to the older stuff

Nah, most art forms don't have anything as prevalent, interactive, soulful and non-business as sitting around with friends and singing together.

I'd say film and music are on the same level. But music is definitely lower on the totem pole than film. So you're right.

Not other artform can surpass the ambiguity of music, even some other arts (dance, film, etc) require music to elevate themselves

>But music is definitely lower on the totem pole than film.
Why?
