nope

dude reverb lmao

Metal is so diverse with different sounds and bands who are completely different, I'm never done with it really. As long as you listen to different sub genres of metal, you can easily avoid burnout

That being said I do like non metal music too so it's still not a problem

To better metal

classic country

extreme metal duh

Bluegrass.

Maiden, Metallica, Death, Pantera, Ministry, Megadeath, Sabbath, Korn (sue me), Slayer
Plenty of variety to keep things interesting

British folk.

I go to first wave black metal because that's not metal

Prog

Shredders and banjo pickers are spiritual cousins.

black fucking sabbath, embrace the plod, but not the hipster shit of EW or Sleep, those are very poor approximation, but the innocent,
living, stumbling, hard rocking paradox of antediluvian Ozzy's Sabbath

>let's be real, it gets tiring after a while
be real –– it doesn't matter anyway (you know it's just too little, too late. )

There is nothing wrong with Sleep or electric wizard.

Wherever you go, you come back eventually

They approximated what they thought was cool, the slower and heavier of Iommi's riffs, but Sabbath was more varied than that, cause after all they were playing by ear instead of following a metal aesthetic, that was my meaning.
