Have One On Me is my favorite, but I get it completely with Science Fiction. It's a perfect 2010s album, if that makes sense. Same with Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven, to me encapsulates alienation in modern society and turning to your childhood and shit in order to find some sort of happiness (with all the Kurt Cobain and Beavis and Butthead shit), but I get that might just be me being retarded. Science Fiction was really special, and I wonder if we'll get an album like it again. I feel like a lot of Science Fiction's brilliance is thanks to Jesse Lacey being a part of the 90s and shit, and I feel an album this cold and melancholic fits in the modern era. I don't think a zoomer is gonna make an album like Science Fiction on their laptop in 2037. Now that I'm writing this maybe Science Fiction bookmarks the end of music, and Jesse Lacey getting MeToo'd for shit he did before Devil and God that wasn't even that wild is like the nail in the coffin.
