No idea why the albums took a nosedive after The Resistance, WotP is like the definition of mid and most other fans I know are so starved for decent muse stuff that they consider it actually good, when it's 6.5 at best, and by best I mean if you really put your mind into it and focus on thinking about the positive parts only.
