I have an acoustic Yamaha FG800 but its tone is really boring to me, very flat sounding and boomy like it's just meant for pounding out 4 chord pop songs. Maybe it's because my elixirs are dead but even when they were fresh it just sounded kinda wrong. I get really jelly of the beautiful sounds people get from other acoustics and I think mine is the problem

Nice pick honestly, those highway 1s are excellent guitars. Tdpri is all boomer purists, bridge pickup probably isn't twangy enough for them so they sperg out. They're allergic to teles doing anything but old school blooze and country.
