what string gauge you using, how are your springs arranged, and is your claw tightened unevenly

id add a spring and then tighten the claw and get it even, that should do the trick

do what you want mate. but without seeing under that cover its impossible to know. at worst the 2 screws have ripped out of the wood, at best an easy fix that just involves screwing something in or attaching a spring properly
