is it normal to really enjoy Discipline and find everything Talking Heads did shit? I tried listening to Remain In Light and it all sounded the same. Once In A Lifetime and Psycho Killer are just unlistenable to me

Checked and truthpilled
At the end of the day the talking heads just didn't have the chops to pull it off as anything more than a pop rock crossover.

I like it!

*listens to talking heads once*

They sound nothing alike besides the vocals

NEEEEEEAAAAAAALLLLL
AND JACK AND ME

ABSENT LOVERS

It remains consistent.

And the belew solos

Check OP's pic. It's not 77

Madman.

adrian belew clearly had zero positive impact on king crimson.

kc without belew = good
kc with belew = good
belew without kc = bad

>talking heads
>capable of autotelic poetry
no
consciousness would be the difference here

Cringe. Get better taste.

Based gamelan-era KC user.

is a cool and different kinda of sound, gamelan KC is cool enough, has the cringe aesthestic of the 80s, but there's no comparison with classic era KC.

talking heads didn't have solos
