I agree that they are much better than Kraftwerk. It is like comparing 80s Hiphop to 90s. Kraftwerk sounds dated while YMO sounds timeless. I don't think they are underrated, though. They aren't well known in the West because they weren't really promoted. When people hear the music they like it.
