that's a bit tough to say, it depends on whether you're more into the mathcore stuff like Converge, the more metallic stuff that was inspired by swedish melodeath like Killswitch Engage and All That Remains or the actual "punk with metal influences" metalcore like Hatebreed or Earth Crisis

mathcore/deathcore/djentcore have the most breakdowns of any genre, but it can be grating to listen to these albums because they can be sort of one-trick ponies. I mean, even Bring Me the Horizon wrote a good deathcore album for their debut.

Introduced to them through Guitar Hero 2 (Six), had forgotten about them until recent years (I am not a metalcore fan by any means).
Went back and gave this album a listen; It’s so good, front to back.
I’m still perplexed by the solo in Become the Catalyst. I wish I had discovered Oli sooner. RIP.
