Sharing Tunes As Biden Observes III Edition
Let's try to keep these at the ten minute mark or shorter, but otherwise post whatever the hell you want.
I'll let the first non-OP dude link the first track.

Honestly I don't think we'll ever hear true silence within our lifetime.

(Don't listen to the album BTW this is the only good song.)
i liek the intensity of it. makes me think of like emo noise rock if that makes any sense -- 9/10

hate KISS
A great example of independent-minded post-punk from the U.K. with vocals that're particularly appealing. Nothing that I'd like to complain about. It seems clearly worth repeated listens. 8/10
This failed attempt at something like space rock or whatever honestly just makes me irritated. It's electronic noodling mixed with other sort of meandering without there being any point. Meh. 5/10
I checked out this:

It's honestly a fairly well-crafted hard rock song. The only problem is that it's especially generic for 80s music. I don't mind too much, though. 8/10

The Heart song is much more generic. At least Uh All Night has some memorable lyrics and a decent guitar solo.
This appears to be unavailable.
I personally like this one:

Fits today’s clown world perfectly.
I also like this one so much, I even played over it. Don’t bother listening to the other songs off the album, they are not as good.
It's a decent dance pop song without context, but the fact that it's some kind of eruption style release of emotion from the gigantic Taylor Swift hype machine hurts things at a lot. Still, it's nowhere near terrible. It's just that she's being poppy and silly. Fuck her rapping, though. 6/10
>some kind of volcanic eruption style*
as I recall it was the last really blockbuster pop anthem to ever come out
I'd say that 2015's "Uptown Funk" was the last true blockbuster pop anthem (while also being of other genres) while the last true blockbuster anthem of any style was 2019's "Old Town Road".
Since then, nothing has broken through. I don't know if we'll ever have something culturally as big as those two singles I just mentioned again. Maybe given trends... maybe not.
A great example of that high-energy soul sound that you get from Stax/Volt and has become internationally famous, although I don't really know what label this song had. Has aged perfectly. Superb talent in the instrumental work. 9/10
