Phish > Goose > The Dead
never been to one.
i just like scarlet begonias :)
Shakedown Street gets stuck in my head regularly.
Phish and Goose are good but too whimsical for my liking. However do you have a recommendation of what I should listen to from them?
very tasteful jams..... I'll trade you these even though you didn't ask.
>Phish > The Dead
Trey can't sing or write.
>can't sing
lol youre telling me that jerry, phil, bob let alone DONNA JEAN are good singers
Yes. Jerry could sing, write, and play better than Trey. Phil and Bob, not so much. At least Phil isn't a pedo like Gordon. You didn't need to bring up Donna. Now I can hear her shitting up a great "Playing In The Band" performance in my head.
Look, I like Trey. I just think his fans give him way too much slack, especially when it comes to his TAB dad rock bullshit.
That said, I will be seeing Trey at the Beacon tonight. I'm looking forward to some positivity after spending the week working and browsing Any Forums.
Thank you senpai, I'm going to check these out soon!
this was probably a troll, but goose sucks lol. phish is actually good though and music nerds sleep on them way too hard. youtube.com

I think the scene did the right thing embracing Goose. Their shows are kind of inconsistent though. I loved them at Radio City. They did an acoustic set before the two electric ones, played a couple dead covers. But seeing them at Peach Fest was disappointing compared to those. It was just way too dancy and keyed up. I like the reggae influence in their songs, and they have competent vocals, at least by jam band standards.
>quality singing voices and actual good vocal melodies?!? OH NOOO IM LOSING MY MIND
phish fans are retard
One of the best Dead releases is Dick's Picks vol . 33 (10/9/76 & 10/10/76)
The first show has one of the best second sets in Dead history. The Help > Slip > Drums > Samson > Slip > Franklin's is one of the best sequences I've ever heard
I think Dick's Picks vol. 16 will always be my favorite. Pigpen singing "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl," one of my favorite performances of "Dire Wolf." Memories of speeding hard always come flooding back when I hear it.
