bump

Prurient is fucking overrated

He also sucks at programming synth patches, which is a confusing fact when you consider how good he is at transforming sounds from other sources. Anything he touches involving non-synthesizer oriented analog electronics sounds crazy detailed, but his synth patches are retardedly basic.

filtered

is this his only good release? Prurient is king of mid

Was it inspired by Lynch? The cover is from Lilya 4-Ever which is nothing like Lynch.

Bermuda Drain, Through the Window, Frozen Niagara Falls... the list goes on
The cover itself is very Lynchian

Scott Walker is the David Lynch of music. It's very straightforward.

obligatory mention of the Julee Cruise record in case anyone browsing this thread has not had the pleasure of listening to it i strongly recommend doing so

imo only the cover of this is Lynchian, good record though.

he's good. i prefer his vatican shadow project. for a "noise music" artist his releases are actually pretty varied and interesting, thematically / aesthetically, etc. and i like when he branches out from pure noise.

great record.
