Asked some zoomer family members of mine if they had ever listened to a whole album, as in an album in it's entirety, track by track. They all told me they just listen to Spotify/Apple Music playlists. Is their ADHD really that bad?

Stop making zoomer threads
Zoomer music taste just perplexes me for all the wrong reasons.
I DONT CARE, STOP MAKING THREADS ABOUT IT
faggot,
people typically only listen to "entire albums" when they're into music. normal people have been listening to "whatever's on the radio" or "whatever's in my playlist" forever now. it's not a zoomer thing.
Even a lot of people on this board know well enough that most artists can't carry an entire album. Most of the I listen to every track all the way through on every album people are pseuds coping with not being able to identify artists that are actually worth their time.
That's not true at all. People used to buy albums all the time and play them in their stereo systems. Having a CD tower or a shelf full of vinyl wasn't an anomaly, that was the norm.
Is zoomer music even released on LPs anymore? Most of what I've seen are either EPs or singles
I think they call them "projects" or "mixtapes" or something along those lines.
Millennial here. People were doing that shit even when I was young. This isn't a zoomer problem it's a normie problem.
i listen to mixtapes. last shit was the new sematary
shit bops
I have autism and I've listened to albums that are an hour long at most. I tried listening to Third by Soft Machine and it wasn't possible for me in one sitting. I don't think that's the point.
I've listened to plenty of albums that are over an hour, a few that are even 2.
>zoomers really think this
seriously man you really should just move past this subject and i say this as a fucking millennial
This is the case for the majority of people. Even people who use to have to listen to music on a record player bought singles instead of albums. Music is for everyone, but music as a hobby is not for everyone.
this isn't a MUH ADHD!!!! thing retard. This is just people who like music but don't CARE that much about music to sit down and listen to a full album. Listening to Spotify playlists is just the new form of radio.
Genuinely depressing
Things you refer as "albums"... they're not fucking operas. They are just bunch of songs that some cheap entertainer has published.
>listening to an album track by track
you're an autistic user, you should proud
you realize "albums" are an arbitrary format thats only existed since the 40s and its that form because it was the most easy to record and store and sell for consoomers to play at home right? sure theres people who really made great works within that form... but acting like its the end-all be-all of music listening forms is ridiculous
If it's no a concept album it doesn't matter.
