That's the mistranslation I referenced. In older versions of the Bible closer to the original language it was written in, it states that man shall not lie with boy, referring to a child.

You're not thinking about this in enough dimensions (even though I disagree with your case, I'll indulge you). God them Eve for Adam, using his rib, as a companion to Adam who God saw as alone. They became a family to many children. Jesus Christ later stated that a man should only take one wife, and can only divorce if there's adultery. Also, the Bible makes it clear that fornication is against the will of God, yet the "marriage bed is undefiled." Now, where in the midst of all this information do we get an allowance for sodomy?

This is simply untrue, they just compare it to the New Testament. Much of the old covenant has been done away with because of the words of Jesus. Homosexuality, however, was never ok'd by our Lord and Savior.

The Bible was written by man to reflect events carried out by God.
It is not perfect, and whether we want to admit it or not, contains contradictions.
Does this mean the Bible as a whole is useless? Far from it. What we need to do is use it as a lodestar for what Christ's intentions were when these events unfolded.
There is no specific condemnation of gays. Christ spoke of unfettered sex and lust - was he doing this to condemn the action itself, or the consequences of pursuing hedonism over spiritual enrichment?
People may have their interpretations, but condemning the gays using this scripture is fantastical. Love everyone. You have no room to judge, no one does, only God.

I meant The Ascension. Beginners Mind is ok but absolutely horrible compared to older albums it's trying to imitate. His lyricism is just bad now, and his song writing is really dull and predictable and repetitive at this point. For most of his career, almost every single release he had was new and interesting and he lost that after 2015 (debatably 2012 because planetarium was pretty redundant as well). He was always cheesy but in a lovable sort of way. He's so cheesy now I can't stand listening more than 1 time through on anything new he makes. It's just fucking stupid rather than being charming.

Except his vague gay posting on his blog and social media accounts and the extremely gay The Owl and the Tanager. I'm with you in that his fan base is fucking stupid and make everything about being a fag even though most of it isn't. But there are strong signs regardless.
