When was the last time we seen slim shady? Do you think he will ever make a return?

Killshot

Unironically, it was Relapse. Aka, Eminem's last great album.

Who is slim shady?

someone who is not im-a-tating

Slim Shady is the alter ego of Detroit rapper Eminem. Slim Shady is the evil and mischievous side of Eminem. He was created by Em when he and some guys got together to make a rap group with the 12 best rappers in Detroit. It was called D12, or the Dirty Dozen. Since there were supposed to be 12 people and they only had six, they all came up with alter egos so there would be 12 members and Slim Shady was born. Eminem often raps through the point of view of Slim. He was not created in Em's first album Infinite and did not appear in his 2010 album Recovery. In the Slim Shady LP Slim was a childish drug dealer, drug taker, immortal, murdering, raping scumbag. He made a lot of jokes and did a good bit of horrible mischeivious things. The tone was still joking though. In the Marshall Mathers LP he did more horrible stuff, including some material about rape and serial killing along with more gang, drug, and violent activity. He was less pronounced on the Eminem Show and Encore as Em mostly rapped about being Eminem, but Shady was mentioned. Slim met his darkest days on Relapse, where he became a psychotic rapist and serial killer for most songs, going into detail about raping and killing women in horrible ways and at times being a gay serial killer who kills and eats men and sometimes does things such as aborting babies. There was some Slim Shady content in the MMLP2, but he was less pronounced.

dude. he’s 50 tears old. Eminem is a sellout hack, has been for over a decade. There’s basically 3 different levels of Eminem.

The 99-2002 era which everyone loves and adores

2003-2006 where it still feels like classic Eminem but the music quality drastically decreased.

And post relapse.

Relapse is the last album where it even closely resembles the Eminem we once knew. Everything after is a different person. Just throw the rest in the trash.

Eminem should have released Relapse 2 and stated true to himself and his company. Oh well.

He did just release a Relapse 2 track though with 50 cent you can check out, hopefully he releases the full album some day and other unreleased tracks from when he was good, those are all he has left to offer at this point.

Eminem is better at rapping now than he ever was. The problem is, he's too bar heavy and makes too many references to things you have to know about for the brainlet tier general rap audience

I'm surprised he didn't make a political album.

Dre is better than him

No, he’s not actually. So sick of people saying this shit. If his flow is worse, bars are worse, cadence is worse, then no, that is not getting better

Sounds like split personality disorder desu senpai baka UwU

He's way more technically impressive than he ever was

Whatever man

It's been 20 years. Let it go. The man is like 55 years old now.

WTF do you think Revival is?

Relapse Shady was a different Shady than original Shady

>better at rapping
rapping fast does not equal good rapping

I don't mind Recovery or MMLP2, because they make sense story arc wise

But Revival should have just been Slim Shady For President: the album. As funny and over the top as possible

For all the haters like you, I need to know what's bad about this, a song that fairly encapsulates "modern em"

It's time to admit SSLP and The Eminem Show are his only albums that still hold up today
