Have you checked out Wrest's side project Lurker of Chalice?

Krallice just released the two best black metal albums of the year within six months of each other
Yeah I actually told my friend a few weeks ago that that albums is probably the bleakest thing I’ve ever heard and I say that as not even a big fan of Wrest (although I recognize and admire his talent).
This is my favorite black metal album of all time though

Are you familiar with Xasthur?
One of my favorites. He’s got three new (non folk) albums in the can that I’m eagerly awaiting.
fuck off stupid metalfags
I have his first folk album and a vinyl of A Gate Through Bloodstained Mirrors both signed
Based on your replies in this thread, you would probably really like Am Himmel

I only like entry level shit
Nice. He seems like a pleasant guy. I have a shirt from the first acoustic tour that I wear a lot.

Scott is a good person but heavily on the spectrum. He keeps blocking and unblocking my wife on social media even though we know each other personally lol
Best album, period. Hail Wrest
>Black Metal
>Good
PICK ONE!
stop listening to satanic music. the spiritual realm is not to be tampered with
It has grown on me a lot. With most bm I feel I enjoy an album mainly for either it’s aggression or it’s atmosphere but rarely both, this is an exception as both are nailed wonderfully here.
After a cursory sampling I like this quite a bit and I’m definitely listening to this all the way through later today. Thanks, this is cool.
Very comfy. Haven’t heard this one either. Definitely giving it a listen. :)
The super technical (maybe not the right word?) drumming always pushes me away a bit but I love his singing style. While I’m not feeling this right now I am going to give it another shot simply for how much I like the vocals if nothing else.
The vocals are definitely one of the best elements of Krallice. I love how he switches his style throughout different releases
